ZBR Fest final wave this Wednesday!

We had to bump the ZBR Fest final wave to Wednesday to allow for one more thing to run through the filter. So it’ll be final lineup, pre-show lineup, and ticket sales. Feel free to wear a diaper on your head cuz it might explode.

Coma Of Eris premiered two final songs from the upcoming self-titled cassette LP releasing this Friday February 14th, the first titled “Archers Take Aim” was put on the Operation X-Ray show, while the latter is titled “A Dip in Lake Drowning” and was just premiered this morning on Not Just A Phase. The remix/remastered ‘As Years Pass and Feel Like Seconds’ by Iowa’s IN LOVING MEMORY is already almost sold out, so if that’s your bag (and it probably is if you’re here) then you should probably hop on that. Remember there’s a new song releasing on the June 30th Zampler followed by a music video on the same day for the same song. Above you’ll find the teaser of said video.

An early heads up, you’ll find a new music video from a sick new screamo band that we’ll be releasing their debut 12”LP of in the fall. It’s hella awesome and the band is called Othiel. Keep an eye out!!!

Also, this is a final reminder before the June 27th massive distro update with tons of stuff from Vitriol Records, The Ghost Is Clear Records, Dingleberry Records, No Funeral, etc.

After the 2022 festival I was shaken by how incredible the opening band Scenario’s set was, so I immediately asked them to play the following year and not be the opener. Twas a good call, as after that they released their debut LP mere weeks before the fest and then destroyed everyone live. We will continue posting the single videos for each band that played ZBR Fest 2023 in the order that they played, so there’s more coming!

In Loving Memory is currently on fire. After getting back together for some reunion shows, the members hit it off, remixed/remastered ‘As Years Pass and Feel Like Seconds’, aaaaaaand they wrote a new EP which comes out next month on ZBR tapes (music video on June 30th!). The cassettes for their first full length release this Friday June 23rd from Zegema Beach, and sometime later from Illuminate My Heart Records (they are in the process of moving). Feel free to take a gander at the variants above, we made 150 total. Friday at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST

On June 27th the U.S. store will have a massive distro update, with this Canadian/International store having a minor distro update. In Loving Memory’s remix/remaster tapes for ‘As Years Pass and Feel Like Seconds’ are done and ready for release on Friday June 23rd from Zegema Beach and Illuminate My Heart Records. Pictured above is the primary swirl, with the other variants revealing on Wednesday. The band is actively booking shows and making new music so that’s fucking sick.

Massa Nera premiered another killer music video from their ‘Derramar Querer Borrar’ full length, this time for “A Faint Goodbye”, via Brooklyn Vegan. We are definitely dwindling on some variants (with others already being sold out) and the band is also on tour in less than two months with Quiet Fear and Habak on their road to New Friends Fest. This one’s much more limited than our previous offerings, coming on just 134 tapes with the band taking 75 of those. The six-piece’s growth has seen the band get ever tighter while shifting into a dirtier, darker, more nightmarish realm not unlike Meth.’s EP material. It’s straight-up a shock to the senses.
