Nuvolascura triple packs, Fainting Dreams released, Inosuke on Monday!

First and most importantly, shipping updates. Okay so the US store has sent out every Usurp order to my knowledge, while the Canada store has only done cds as the box containing our Usurp 2x12”s arrives in a week or so. The Canada store has sent off all of the other older release shipments like Shesmadefromsuede, Coup D’etat cds, etc., while the US store’s box with those arrives next week at which point they’ll be shipped out. All of the Nuvolscura orders should be shipped by mid-November. Bandcamp orders in the US are the last orders to go out and we haven’t forgotten about you, thank you for your patience.

The new Fainting Dreams album ‘You Can Be Anything’ premiered on Idioteq.com on the 30th of October, with the full release coming yesterday. There are 40 tapes over three variants, a swirl, a blue, and some test dips. The six songs are gorgeous, expansive, layered, all-encompassing pieces not unlike Ethel Cain and Lingua Ignota. Inosuke’s new album ‘Allomancer’ releases on Monday! We’ll have our copies up a little earlier than usual, this time we’ll do 7am PST / 9am CST / 10am EST. There are six tracks on this behemoth that exists somewhere between the overlap of screamo, post-hardcore, sludge, and heavy metal. Features Jason from Locktender/Men As Trees and Erik from Stormlight/Lord Snow! Last reminder for the time being about their phenomenal debut that we released in late 2023 titled ‘rage/ruin’ that you can listen to/snag a 12” for below.

Okay, I’m pretty sure this is the final ZBR Fest video, and it’s for Rosemary Nods Upon The Grave who were excellent and to boot, super fucking enthusiastic about the entire thing. Love’em. After purchasing the last tape from Bus Stop Press and completely falling in love with Ukraine’s DOLLORES, we had to make more and get it on our bandcamp. Good lord of science almighty these 11 groovy, screamy, golden nuggets have a wonderful swing to them and some of the best vocals we’ve ever heard. If you combine I Hate Sex with Suis La Lune it’d sound something like this - fucking incredible. New art by Kyle Calvert design with two differnt inner j-card variants and a bunch of gorgeous tapes.

Cassettes /78, 28 on blue swirl, 20 on yellow swirl, 10 pink swirl, 10 blue, 10 mystery swirls and 4 test dips, all with double-sided j-card and download code. 11 songs.

Sulfur and Martin Randal Travel really hit that Bremen hardcore/Steakhouse Records itch. Dark, screamy, and dirty, fans of Carol, Union Of Uranus, Acme, and One Eyed God Prophecy will likely dig this wicked UK split. Only 52 tapes were made on some pretty sick variants and remember our stores have cheaper prices than the bandcamp copies because they charge 20% in fees.

Emma Goldman’s first song premiere just hit the interwebs via Idioteq.com for the song “I don’t think at all”. I can’t tell you how freakin’ incredible this album is. Full release is April 28th on 300 12”s. Test presses received and approved. Arguably screamo album of the year. Belted Sweater released today on Softseed Music and Self Versed Records! This glam skramz solo project looks decent on paper, but when experiencing it aurally you’ll understand how truly great it is. Their split with Sulfur (their premiere was last week via This Noise Is Ours, linked here and embedded below) releases on Tomb Tree this Monday February 24th on 52 tapes. Vancouver’s Smush just released their 3rd music video from ‘if you were here i’d be home now’ and we’re down to the absolute last copies of the first pressing. This was CanaDave’s album of the year in 2024! 2 left on the Softseed bandcamp, 2 in the Canada store, and 22 in the U.S. store. Zero chance these are still around by summer so snag now or forever hold your peace.

Belted Sweater got the good’ole OMSB premiere treatment with the final single “More Rack Toms (than people in the audience)” and it’s amazing. It’s different. By golly it’s a bit strange at first, but like CanaDave you will likely become enamored with this incredible glam skramz solo project from LA. Full tape release is this Friday the 21st of February on Softseed Music (but we’ll have a few copies too) and Self Versed Records. The Coma Of Eris debut album immediately caught the eye of the almighty Stereogum who were kind enough to do a little write-up of it. Tapes have been ordered and will arrive in mid-March, after which CanaDave will decorate and they should be released late March/early April. Johnny’s Reco-mmendations: YELLFIRE = I knew nothing about this band when I played with them, but they played as a three-piece and blew us all away. After the set we were informed that they were missing a guitar player at that show and everyone’s jaws broke the fuck off. They’re like Botch x Kollapse. Amazing.

We had to bump the ZBR Fest final wave to Wednesday to allow for one more thing to run through the filter. So it’ll be final lineup, pre-show lineup, and ticket sales. Feel free to wear a diaper on your head cuz it might explode.

Coma Of Eris premiered two final songs from the upcoming self-titled cassette LP releasing this Friday February 14th, the first titled “Archers Take Aim” was put on the Operation X-Ray show, while the latter is titled “A Dip in Lake Drowning” and was just premiered this morning on Not Just A Phase.
