Here’s a little update on the next 7 days of ZBR and Tomb Tree:

Big Stuff Thing now! Tests, stuff that was previously sold out, and sale items are available in the U.S.A. store here and Canada/International here. These products/headings will disappear in just under 24 hours at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST on Tuesday June 10th, so act now or miss out, your call!

Stuntman‘s first full length in a decade comes out this Thursday on Tomb Tree. We made 37 cassettes with a massive j-card filled with lyrics, with all variants coming swirled. Full release at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST on June 12th.

Poetry Of Torch x Gil Cerrone split cds next Monday June 16th! Two brand new tracks from each band.

Exclaim put Emma Goldman’s ‘all you are is we’ 12”LP cracked the Top 25 of 2025 so far (actually, they broke into the top 10!). We’ve got like 2 “blob” copies left on bandcamp and this Canada store then they’re gone and only “red” remains, which are already more than half sold out as well! I Promised The World was the most recent subject of the ZBR Roster Review series by This Noise Is Ours. The last few copies we had held back were sold immediately yesterday when the Big Stuff Thing went live. I don’t expect a repress anytime soon and this was the last release under the name Sinema. Operation X-Ray played some fuckin’ jams on Friday including new Nuvolascura, a Rosemary Nods Upon The Grave track (who are now on tour), and Carrion Spring’s premiere.

Big Stuff Thing this Sunday! You read right, it’s been a hot minute since we’ve had one but we’ve accumulated a few extra things for our “safety nets” that are no longer needed. You will find items from Sinema, Febuary, Othiel, Blind Girls, Crowning, etc. plus more test presses than you can shake an Indian Summer-shaped stick at. Sunday at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST. The items will be available for just 48 hours at the top of the US Store as a single product with a buncha variants (aka releases) and the Canada store will have a “Big Stuff Thing” listing in the dropdown box for Canada/International Store..

Emma Goldman’s first song premiere just hit the interwebs via Idioteq.com for the song “I don’t think at all”. I can’t tell you how freakin’ incredible this album is. Full release is April 28th on 300 12”s. Test presses received and approved. Arguably screamo album of the year. In Loving Memory tapes for ‘A Gentler Sun’ released. Only 52 copies made! Their full length tapes are also back up in the stores, but Canada/International and Bandcamp are totally sold out so it’s ZBRUSA.com or bust!

Belted Sweater released today on Softseed Music and Self Versed Records! This glam skramz solo project looks decent on paper, but when experiencing it aurally you’ll understand how truly great it is. Under The Radar premiered “Wilt” a few days back but there’s lots of good information about the band/Chris in there so check it out by clicking on this text or the pic above.

Their split with Sulfur (their premiere was last week via This Noise Is Ours, linked here and embedded below) releases on Tomb Tree this Monday February 24th on 52 tapes. Vancouver’s Smush just released their 3rd music video from ‘if you were here i’d be home now’ and we’re down to the absolute last copies of the first pressing. This was CanaDave’s album of the year in 2024! 2 left on the Softseed bandcamp, 2 in the Canada store, and 22 in the U.S. store. Zero chance these are still around by summer so snag now or forever hold your peace.

Belted Sweater got the good’ole OMSB premiere treatment with the final single “More Rack Toms (than people in the audience)” and it’s amazing. It’s different. By golly it’s a bit strange at first, but like CanaDave you will likely become enamored with this incredible glam skramz solo project from LA. Full tape release is this Friday the 21st of February on Softseed Music (but we’ll have a few copies too) and Self Versed Records. The Coma Of Eris debut album immediately caught the eye of the almighty Stereogum who were kind enough to do a little write-up of it. Tapes have been ordered and will arrive in mid-March, after which CanaDave will decorate and they should be released late March/early April. You know you’ve made it if Sophie’s Floorboard covers you, so hella congrats to Onewaymirror for breaking that floorboard right off and inserting themselves as one of the most prolific and popular screamo bands around. Johnny’s Reco-mmendations: YELLFIRE = I knew nothing about this band when I played with them, but they played as a three-piece and blew us all away. After the set we were informed that they were missing a guitar player at that show and everyone’s jaws broke the fuck off. They’re like Botch x Kollapse. Amazing.
