ZBR Fest 2024 full lineup (but minus the pre-show bands!) has been unleashed and it’s pretty fucking ridiculous to look at. Snag the two-day tickets by click on the pic or this text.

We decided to push back our digital release of Tristan Tzara as we wait for the Dog Knights store to re-open in February, and we have the VS Self discography and the Our Future Is An Absolute Shadow 12” that we want to push. Therefore we will post the digitals when the physicals go up for sale, somewhere between January 31st and February 7th, I reckon. Stay tuned here and you’ll be in the know nice and early.

2023 - 12 - 20 /// Lower Automation video + Gifts From Enola reveal #3+4

A couple of things. First and foremost there’s the upcoming Wave 2 + the regular-priced two-day tickets for ZBR Fest 2024 this Friday the 22nd at (most likely) 12am CST / 1am EST. Access the site, schedule, and ticket links here.

One of the two Inosuke variants are apparently done. So we except the other to finish up by early January, therefore we should be in line to get them shipped out as stated by the end of January. Pre-order/listen by click on this text.

Carrion Spring tapes shipped this week to Tomb Tree so those will be available early January after our two-week breather. Jam the EP here.

Woah nelly this is the last news post before the Gifts From Enola ‘2006-2013’ boxset releases on Thursday at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST! Four cassettes that include heaps of unreleased/live material in addition to the band four albums and handful of splits for over five hours of incredible music. Above are the last two cassettes ‘Gifts From Enola’ and ‘A Healthy Fear’, the former also includes the Caravels split, a brand new song, and two live jams while the latter houses a remix and four unreleased demos. 2023 - 09 - 15 /// To Forget + More Premieres

We released the phenomenal To Forget lathe 7” yesterday and moved about half of the copies in less than 24 hours. Their 12”LP steadily sold for a month before we moved all 160 copies, and we expect this lathe to do the same (but we only have 50 this time) so if you’re into it please don’t sleep. It’s fantastic!

Riversleem premiered “Eating Teeth” a few days back on Borderline Fuckup, with the full 7” release going down on September 25th so get the fuck ready! We still have copies of their debut 7” in stock as well, give it a jam (so good).

Operation X-Ray premiered enough tracks to knock over a camel! Poor camel. Songs from Loose Teeth, Llewelyn (premiere), My Hair Is A Rat’s Nest (premiere), Riversleem (premiere), and Saton (premiere)!!! Congratulations on your 100th episode Andrew, you rule!

CanaDave helped the band Hillsboro release their self-titled 12”LP on his Softseed Label today. It’s amazing indie rock from Victoria on Vancouver Island, which is also where he is based.

Hey! If you have ever wanted to be a part of one of the grave, neighbors Halloween cover compilations that I do, this may be your last chance. To be honest each year it’s getting more and more difficult to get people to submit. Last year, some friends came through at the last minute and help me wrangle up some more songs, but this year it’s starting to look like i’ll have to do a bunch myself if I want to make a decent size compilation out of it. Anyway, if you have an unreleased recording of a cover song or would like to do one and can submit it by October 1, Let me know. I would love to continue doing this but if there’s no interest maybe I should just let it go.

2023 - 08 - 28 /// September Upcomingness

So what’s going on? Lots of shit. Good shit. Momentous shit. Fecal God? Sure, why not.

Okay so August 31st we’ve got a little surprise Crowning 12” for you. No new material but remixed/remastered + out of print stuff. It’s gonna be sick. Full details tomorrow! Pics on Wednesday! Then the Crowning/Niboowin tour begins after the 12” is released! Oh happy day.

We’ve got a two-song lathe from a ZBR band that rocked us at the 2022 fest. I can’t seem to recall their name. Very weird. I am prone to forget. I do remember it comes out September 14th though!

After that is the September 25th release of Riversleem’s new 7”EP ‘A Second Release by Riversleem’ that will see a song premiere on September 13th via Borderline Fuckup. You can jam “Hammer” from the 21st Zampler which is also on the EP.

Later that same week we’ll be dropping the incredible Vibora 12”LP ‘Zaldi Beltza’ on Friday September 29th. This will be a co-release with Through Love Records in Europe. Jam a song from the 21st Zampler below!

Joliette’s ‘Luz de Bengala’ came out last Friday and is kicking serious ass, as is the band on their European tour! The Porcelain are all gone but we have some Sea Glass available as well as the gorgeous Sink Rose swirl color-in-color variant.

This thing was massively overlooked and I’m still bummed more people didn’t hear this phenomenal Botch/Chariot hybrid with two vocalists. I think we still have them on sale for less than cost.
