Obroa-skai 12”s are in hand and release/ship this Friday at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST! We did 100 on eco-mix (in this case it turned out blue-ish green) including a two-sided lyrical insert. There’s not much other news that is publicly available, so thanks for reading and here’s some info! Firstly, I just ordered the Our Future Is An Absolute Shadow 12”LP so that’ll 100% come out in January, probably in the middle of it. Secondly, the plant is showing that Onewaymirror should be completed late December so I’d expect them to go up for sale super early in January. Thirdly, I have no clue when the 300th ZBR release will finish up, but I can say it’s a European emo-violence from years past and it’s co-released with Dog Knights. Mages? Yup.

Oooo baby after a few days of silence all three of our labels had a premiere go down! First is Euclid C Finder via No Clean Singing for Zegema Beach (releases October 27th), then there was Tomb Tree’s My Hair Is A Rat’s Nest which got picked up by Stereogum (releases September 21st), and finally CanaDave’s newest label Softseed Music saw a song/music video release from Social Caterpillar via Idioteq.com (releases October 7th). Hey! If you have ever wanted to be a part of one of the grave, neighbors Halloween cover compilations that I do, this may be your last chance. To be honest each year it’s getting more and more difficult to get people to submit. Last year, some friends came through at the last minute and help me wrangle up some more songs, but this year it’s starting to look like i’ll have to do a bunch myself if I want to make a decent size compilation out of it. Anyway, if you have an unreleased recording of a cover song or would like to do one and can submit it by October 1, Let me know. I would love to continue doing this but if there’s no interest maybe I should just let it go.

Mathcore Index’s Mathcast gave some love to Seasons Worn who released their sophomore EP a few weeks back on Tomb Tree. Amazing metalcore with prog influences. Tapes still in stock!!!

Both Dave’s have been in love with Closet Witch for years (we even sport identical couple hoodies!) so it was a no brainer to ask the Iowa-based band to tear our ears apart. And they did. New album coming 2023 <3 We will continue posting the single videos for each band that played the last day of ZBR Fest 2023 in the order that they played, so there’s more coming! Actually, there are only two more!!!

Not Just A Phase volume 2 compilation is out! It’s amazing! 20 unreleased tracks! Tapes are flying, get one. Widowdusk and Ihuntmonsters comes out on Monday via Tomb Tree. There are 102 copies. Almost 1,000 people liked the Instagram post so methinks we drastically under-ordered. Be there 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST on August 14th!!!

We had to restock the Loose Teeth and Constrain split because this store and Bandcamp sold out in 24 hours while the US store copies just sat there, so we took 75% of that stock and shipped it back to Canada. We’ll keep these in the shop until Tuesday then whatever leftovers we have I’m sending to the band for tour.

Last summer Tomb Tree was approached by Loose Teeth to release their first output since the ‘A Commorbid Letter’ that the two had worked on together. Their split partners were introduced later and floored us, just like the new Loose Teeth material. A truly commanding split between two of Ontario’s sickest live bands. Part metallic hardcore, part metal, part emotive. Fer fuck’s sake even Thomas Erak of The Fall Of Troy lends his vocal talents to the opening track!
