Dagerman was released today! The Italian band’s sophomore effort takes the first album’s strongest parts and hones that while adding new textures and heavier sections. Phenomenal stuff for fans of Øjne, La Quiete, Radura, and Joliette.

Fainting Dreams had their first and only song premiere from the ‘Silence of Birds That Rarely Sing’ cassette EP releasing on Softseed Music. This release has the band mixing their ethereal Ethel Cain-esque stuff with crushing black metal/screamo and I couldn’t be happier about that concoction. The project features Elle of Athousandangelsandseven on vocals, and you can check out their previous release below!

Ben from Scenario was on the most recent Everything Remade podcast which you should definitely check out! We released their debut EP on 12” as well as their debut LP on 12”, and we’ve somehow got one copy left below of the ‘When All Is Said And Done’!!!

Othiel 12”s for ‘World’s Fastest Car’ came and went in about 24 hours, but we’ve got the band coming to ZBR Fest to play it in addition to the pre-show so I reckon they’ll have copies. ZBR would love to repress that first LP on 12” as we’ve been out for a good year or two.

Coming in alongside Spain’s Crossed is Portugal’s Hetta. If you’ve followed ZBR/Tomb Tree the last few years then you are well aware of this band, but I figured it was time to SHOW people what they can do as well. They’re live show looks insane so I’m hella (hetta?) excited to bring them all the way over. Check out the two band’s full tour and definitely come see them at the fest. Wollruss is playing another show, this time in Vancouver at Red Gate with some local homies. This is our last show before the ZBR Fest pre-show (tickets linked to this text). I saw Filigree Silver God just over a year ago and they were awesome, I can’t even imagine how good they must be now!

Today’s Last Fucking Copy goes to the only double Dave release in the ZBR catalogue! Crowning (featuring US Dave) and Crowning (featuring CanaDave) did a split back in 2018 that led to a 2019 European tour (documentary embedded above). This shall not be repressed as Swallows Nest choked on said nest and Crowning’s split tracks have ended up on a splits compilation 12”. Snag it below or forever hold your peace.

Mercy Necromancy’s ‘Fallen’ and ‘Cruel’ EPs are now housed on one vinyl 12”! Softseed Music made 111 of these so please go check it out and snag one if you like Dollanganger, Grimes, Del Rey, Cain, etc. Minimal instrumentals under the voice of an angel.

Well shit ZBR Fest is getting pretty goddamned close. So let’s go through the bands playing, shall we? We’ll call this the ZBR Fest 2026 Profile Feature. Yeah, that only took like 10 minutes to think up, lol.

For years Massa Nera was the ZBR Fest mainstay, but after they had to pull out of 2024’s fest it’s been The Caution Children who have taken up the mantle. Bringing everyone together in the best possible way, these Florida all-stars were phenomenal in both 2024 (linked here) and 2025 (embedded above), so it was a no-brainer giving these dudes the ZBR Fest title and inviting them back for a third year in a row.

We are super excited to announce the release of Carrion Spring’s new album ‘Those We Have Lost And Continue To Lose’ which will drop on March 6th, 2026! The 12” vinyl /250 are on the way to us and should be in hand a week before the release so we’ll have some nice pics for ya as soon as possible. Jam a new jam below. More info soon!!!

ZBR is releasing the next Dagerman 12”LP ‘Di fronte a noi il nulla’ on March 20th. The first single “Caino” is available to stream/download above. Wicked Italian screamo, baby! We have some 12”s from their debut LP below if you wanna scope. For fans of La Quiete, Raein, Ojne, etc.

Soastaphrenas’ second single is upon us. This band is ex-Spoiled and kicks serious ass whilst also charting new territory. Exciting stuff! Full release is likely early April and Tomb Tree will have 30 copies.

ZBR Fest lineup announced and tickets are live! The cap on this year’s fest in Vancouver is less than 200 so we’re looking at a pretty intimate time. Tickets are going fast, get’em at zbrfest.com

Our next big ZBR-only release is the next Carrion Spring full length 12” titled ‘those we’ve lost and continue to lose’ and it releases in full on March 6th, 2026 via 250 records. We won’t spoil the variant but it looks pretty fucking sick. You can scope the music video for “Pocket Full of Poseurs” from the album below!

Vi Som Alskade Varandra Sa Mycket’s debut 12”LP is finally back in press thanks to Moment Of Collapse and yours truly (but mostly Moment Of Collapse) as we only have 30 copies spread across our three stores. Phenomenal post-everything screamo from Sweden featuring a member of The Khayembii Communique.

CanaDave had a podcast with Mercy Necromancy right before a special surprise which happens on Monday. If you like ethereal, dreamy, dark-yet-beautiful singer/songwriter stuff you will fall in love with this artist (like I did!) and therefore you should buy a 12” copy of ‘Fallen’ before they’re all gone. Sear’s ‘O Merciful’ is out on 12” from Tomb Tree (and cassette via Limited Hangout Records) with art from @josephpereztattoo. The dark, oppressive, dense screamo/black metal features members of To Forget and is the soundtrack to today’s political landscape. Mages sold out quickly, only black 12”s remain and we only made 100 of those so we don’t expect them to hang around for long!!!

Gravess got their final premiere from their new EP ‘losing everything that makes life beautiful’ that releases January 21st on Zegema Beach and Severed Records via 12”. There’s going to be a big ole Shove distro update on Friday at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST, here’s what’s going up. In case you don’t know some of these covers, there’s Raein, Tenue, La Quiete, ByMySide, Only, Coma Regalia, Norse, Abandoncy, Adorno, Alkupera, Letterbombs x Lori, Crossed x Vibora, Since By Man, oh and we’ve got the Adobe Homes 12” Euro/band variants too!!! These will all go up in the “New Items/Specials” heading of the Canada/International store and straight onto the homepage of the US store.

Sungaze’s fourth full length “I’m No Longer Afraid of Heights” is now up for 12” pre-order with 5 of the 10 songs available to listen/download. The full release for this baby is May 22nd, 2026 and there’s a run of tapes from Candlepin Records as well as cds from the band. Fans of Smush and She’s Green should be all over this.

Mourn Recif is playing a show on January 24th at that sick skate shop again (a new song from their last show there linked here) with a seriously sick lineup. We’re working on a full length album so we won’t be playing many shows over the next few months so please come out to this one and say hi if you can. Also, the Mourn Recif x A Recorded Dawn split got some love from This Noise Is Ours so you should scope that out by clicking on the pic above or this text.

Shesmadefromsuede is down to just a handful of copies left and also got an additional push from the (((((OPENmind/SATURATEDbrain))))) blog which you can access by clicking on the pic above or this text. The band existed solely for this EP then called it a day. Wicked metallic hardcore/screamo in the vein of Mondrary, Blind Girls, Roman Candle, etc.

Operation X-Ray did a wicked roundup of screamo releases from the year. I found a bunch of bands that I hadn’t heard and were awesome, but my top 3 discoveries were: absent from the morning headcount, open carry state, and Chigaki Death Metro. Check that shit below.

It’s official, Concealer 12”LPs for their new first full length are at the pressing plant! Sans Visage tapes arrive tomorrow and will be ready for their December 15th release. ‘drowned/resistance’ houses five jams, many of which are re-recorded versions of earlier songs. I’ll have some pictures ready before they drop. This EP is sooooo good! Their previous LP is also insanely good, and I’ve got 3 copies left below/pictured above!

Boasting members of Itto, Frail Body, Ikaray and Pregnancy Pact, Chicago’s most hospitable local band is finally dropping an LP…or mini-LP…or whatever. Thing is, it’s fucking incredible. Started in 2018, the songs are devoid of filler and instead refined and cut to a staggering degree of potency, with no better place to start than the crushing opener “Caldera”. Falling somewhere between riffy hardcore and screamo/metalcore, my good friends have crafted a truly brilliant piece of art. Speaking of, art by Vanessa Valadez and layout by Dave Cullen. Noise samples by Justin. Mustache by Lowell. Vocal warm-up rehearsal is all James. The 12”s come on assorted color vinyl, some with swirls, and the very coveted 25 wax mages, all with an insert and sticker. Cassettes have two runs, including swirled, opaque and halfsies.
