On Monday January 12th the debut Sear 12” ‘O Merciful’ releases on Tomb Tree. Following up on their stellar debut EP featuring members of To Forget, their mixture of screamo, black metal, and post hardcore is fantastic. Rosemary Nods Upon The Grave got a sick music video done for “Every river will meet the sea” from the Heaven Through Violence split 7”. CanaDave plays in Wollruss and although we have no recorded material and haven’t played a show yet with our full lineup, here’s a practice video cuz it’s all I’ve got. Aight friends, we’re Facebook now so you should def be checking this news page for all important updates. I post at least once a week, sometimes up to three times depending on what’s going on. We’re also on Instagram (@zegema_beach) and BluSky (Zegema Beach Records).

With the final CanaDave’s SkramzCave sales ending, the unsold stuff has been imported into their proper homes at regular prices (12” distro, 7” distro, tapes distro, and cds distro) as well as a bunch of the stuff at sale prices going directly into the “Steals” section. Take a gander cuz everything should be alphabetically organized :)

Last little bit of news is the Zampler #26 compilation ‘A Stroll Down Washout Lane’ which we ran through the 30 cds extremely quickly, so I’ll probably do another small run for the summer Zampler too. Emma Goldman got some love from Crucial Tracks as Chris from The Itinerant Printer names his top albums of the year. We still got some tapes left below! Oh good lord why is this still in stock? Back in the early ZBR days we released this wicked split for Endamori and Big Machine. The former really stuck with us as one of the best three songs we’ve ever heard. Go jam this then buy it for a measly $8!!! No more will be made. 2025 - 12 - 18 /// Sans Visage released + Vibora single

Yesterday the Sans Visage tapes for ‘drown/resistance’ were released alongside the Bandcamp digitals. This is important for two reasons, the first is that the EP is a fucking banger and it’s their first lone release since 2020’s incredible ‘moments, and the second is this will be our last release for cassettes that will have more swirl painted tapes than non-swirls. All future releases (until I run out of paint) will have a rare swirl version and the other variants will not be painted. Hopefully this helps move some of these older Tomb Tree swirl tapes in the process. The end of an era, my god, I’ve dipped probably over 5,000 tapes in the last 8 years.

The brand new single from Spain’s Vibora is out! “Fotos” is a fucking banger (zero surprise) that will follow on our Bandcamp tomorrow alongside the 12” pre-order for ‘Egin Ez Dugun Guztia’. Snag their previous LP ‘Zaldi Beltza’ by clicking on this text!

The band released ‘The Sunder Veil’ last month on tapes via Tomb Tree and their own label Ephemera Flux did 100 vinyl of it. Watch above, jam/buy below.

2025 - 12 - 15 /// ZBR applies some break action

Hey y’all, some sad news first. With the North American economy neck-chop and subsequent monetary turmoil, our sales slowdown will result in less releases over the next few months. We used to do a release every two weeks and alternate between ZBR and Tomb Tree, thus ensuring new music every week. For the next bit I think it’ll be more like one ZBR and one Tomb Tree release a month, so we’ll likely only have one to three releases each month unless sales pick back up again. For the first five years of ZBR I had to pump personal pay into the label to fund it, but since Cullen joined in 2018 it’s become self-sufficient, allowing us to keep releases coming out almost weekly. With everyone hurting and sales plummeting, I can’t pump personal money back into this as my family is also struggling to make ends meet in this hellhole of timeline. So it is what it is.

If sales stay the course, I’ll probably have to open CanaDave’s SkramzCave once more with new items to fund the stuff we’ve already committed to, but that will be the last one. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that but I’ll keep y’all informed. Speaking of, please join our email list so you can keep up to date in 2026 when we start getting off social media (facebook is first, fuck that place).

Our duplication company we use is usually pretty decent, but their handling of our Sans Visage tapes was a bit lacking in proper communication, so we had to push back the release of ‘drowned/resistance’ until Wednesday December 17th at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST. You can check out “resent” which premiered on Operation X-Ray this past Friday.

Oh damn we got the new Vibora album last week and it is fucking amazing. That’s the cover above for the upcoming ‘Egin Ez Dugun Guztia’ 12”LP, which releases February 20th, 2026 and houses 10 brand new jams. We still got a few of their previous ‘Zaldi Beltza’ 12”LP left (first run all sold out save one!, a couple of second runs also in stock) so pick that up and prep for a new jam very soon!

Magana released her ‘Bad News’ Ep earlier this year, so to wrap up 2025 Softseed will be releasing it alongside her debut EP ‘Golden Tongue’, so be on the lookout for that soon! Until then please enjoy ‘Teeth’ which Softseed recently released on 12” lathe. Gorgeous stuff.

It’s of the ‘random color’ variety, but as it’s in my hand I can see it’s a half white/half black copy that matches the art beautifully.
