Great news! Vibora has arrived in the U.S.A. so we’ll get those out to everyone asap, but please remember that the US has to send more copies to Canada for some orders so everyone’s should be in transit in April! Soastasphrenas also showed up but it’s only partially here so most copies can’t go out yet, but we’re working on it!

So in less than 24 hours the Concealer 12”LP ‘This Room Could Be Heaven’ releases! Tuesday March 31st at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST on 250 vinyl (although 100 copies are with the band and we already sold half of our copies during the pre-order) so if you are late you will 100% miss out on this first pressing. They just released an interview with Idioteq.com which you can access by clicking on the pic above or this text. Today’s ZBR Fest 2026 Profile Feature is for Clay Birds who not only rocked the fest last year, but are playing both the pre-show AND the main fest this year! Yep, they’re that good. They’re also awesome people so that always helps. They released a wicked EP last year on ZBR and play a very original concoction of emo, screamo, hardcore, and rock. 2026 - 3 - 20 /// Dagerman released!

Dagerman was released today! The Italian band’s sophomore effort takes the first album’s strongest parts and hones that while adding new textures and heavier sections. Phenomenal stuff for fans of Øjne, La Quiete, Radura, and Joliette.

Fainting Dreams had their first and only song premiere from the ‘Silence of Birds That Rarely Sing’ cassette EP releasing on Softseed Music. This release has the band mixing their ethereal Ethel Cain-esque stuff with crushing black metal/screamo and I couldn’t be happier about that concoction. Full release is April 6th but you can scope the premiere for “I” via Not Just A Phase by clicking on the pic below or this text. The project features Elle of Athousandangelsandseven on vocals, and you can check out their previous release below!

Ben from Scenario was on the most recent Everything Remade podcast which you should definitely check out! We released their debut EP on 12” as well as their debut LP on 12”, and we’ve somehow got one copy left below of the ‘When All Is Said And Done’!!!

Othiel 12”s for ‘World’s Fastest Car’ came and went in about 24 hours, but we’ve got the band coming to ZBR Fest to play it in addition to the pre-show so I reckon they’ll have copies. ZBR would love to repress that first LP on 12” as we’ve been out for a good year or two.

Coming in alongside Spain’s Crossed is Portugal’s Hetta. If you’ve followed ZBR/Tomb Tree the last few years then you are well aware of this band, but I figured it was time to SHOW people what they can do as well. They’re live show looks insane so I’m hella (hetta?) excited to bring them all the way over. Check out the two band’s full tour and definitely come see them at the fest. Wollruss is playing another show, this time in Vancouver at Red Gate with some local homies. This is our last show before the ZBR Fest pre-show (tickets linked to this text). I saw Filigree Silver God just over a year ago and they were awesome, I can’t even imagine how good they must be now!

Today’s Last Fucking Copy goes to the only double Dave release in the ZBR catalogue! Crowning (featuring US Dave) and Crowning (featuring CanaDave) did a split back in 2018 that led to a 2019 European tour (documentary embedded above). This shall not be repressed as Swallows Nest choked on said nest and Crowning’s split tracks have ended up on a splits compilation 12”. Snag it below or forever hold your peace.

Soastasphrenas released ‘Eris’ on Friday. You want a mentally trying, jarring, chaotic, blast to the earholes? Well hot damn this is your release. Part emo-violence, part mathcore, part noise rock, part electronic/ambient, these 9 songs will reconfigure your brain in the best possible way. Oh and those vinyl options are sick as fuck. Vinyl should be in hand in April.

Concealer 12” pre-orders for ‘This Room Could Be Heaven’ sold out in less than an hour, with the other half dropping alongside the full digital release on March 31st at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST. Be there or definitely miss out on the first pressing of this soon-to-be masterpiece!

The sophomore Dagerman 12”LP ‘Di fronte a noi il nulla’ releases this Friday. You can jam two of the tracks by visiting the band’s bandcamp (linked to this text) and I’ve stuffed the finished LP promo pic below.

We picked up 8 copies of Othiel’s new 12” ‘World’s Fastest Car’ that we’ll on Wednesday March 18th at 9am PST / 11am CST /12pm EST. 4 in the US store, 2 in the Canada/International store, and 2 on bandcamp.

When Spain’s Crossed asks if they can play your fest, that’s a hard yes or you straight up don’t know what the hell you’re doing. Luckily I know what I’m doing so having this behemoth of a quartet back was a no-fucking brainer. Watch them demolish our 2024 fest above and jam/buy their new 12”LP before we sell out (the first two full lengths sold out, and this one will too) and then catch them at ZBR Fest 2026 in Vancouver!!! Goddamn those early ZBR releases have started flyinjg out the door, as I think in the last two months we’ve sold our last copy of about 8 releases, with the next likely being Foxmoulder! The essential Toronto band’s 7”EP ‘Lethe’ is today’s Last Fucking Copy. Em (vocals) was instrumental (ha) in getting CanaDave into the Toronto scene back in 2013-2014, and the rest of the members went on to form Respire! This shall not be repressed. Johnny’s Reco-mmendations: FIGURE EIGHT = The guitarist of this band saw my Brahm tape and was like “hey, homies”. Then his band played and I was blown away. That vocalist sings beautifully but live it looks absolutely effortless. “hummingbird” is my pick. Can’t wait to hear what’s next!!!

2024 - 12 - 30 /// Zampler #24 tonight!

Zampler #24 releases tonight at 9pm PST / 11pm CST / 12am EST! Get the fuck ready!!! Before that time almost all strike-era packages will be brought to the post office and mailed off. Many of you already have tracking, that’ll update once I drop this ridiculous amount of packages off at a couple of post offices (so as not to inundate any one location). There are a few stragglers from Bandcamp orders that should go by the end of the week as US Dave tries to keep up, but does have a ton of other responsibilities (like a real job and a child). Coup D’etat had their release show a few weeks ago on the back of their debut album release ‘What Happens After the Epilogue…?’ and CanaDave witnessed, filmed, and played said show. This thing is hot stuff and all Canada/International and Bandcamp copies are gone, but there are 7 copies left in the US store so snag’em asap if interested.
