Usurp Synapse pre-orders on Tuesday!

This gargantuan release for ‘Disinformation Fix’ by the almighty Usurp Synapse is at the plant, and with all the bells and whistles on this classic we’ve decided to open pre-orders to help pay for these elaborate and amazing die-cut gatefold jackets. The 2x12” releases on 500 units of random colored vinyl. We’ll start pre-orders this Tuesday at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST in the two ZBR stores, none will be on Bandcamp. Please remember these WILL NOT SHIP UNTIL NOVEMBER. That includes orders with additional items in the order, the entire order will be held until November. When’s that? Shipping in November. Okay, got it. November.

Twins pre-orders for their new 12” ‘It’s_complicated’ go up for sale on Thursday August 21st. This will coincide with a new single and music video for it! Oh happy day…Thursday…specifically. Check out the first single below.

Not Just A Phase Vol.3 releases August 22nd! Next week we’ll reveal the participating bands, with each band submitting an unreleased track! 24 in total!!!

Hoari tapes are moving fast and almost gone. I’m pretty sure a decent amount of our followers weren’t aware of this phenomenal 2024 release so we’re happy to get it in the ears of new people. For fans of: Ditch Organ, Telos, Course, and Shora.

Nuvolascura moved like hot cakes. We’ve got our small leftover stock going up on the next Big Stuff Thing, the almighty 7th, on Sunday September 14th at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST. Avery Friedman comes in next week! The 12”s finally finished and I’ll have pictures of them up with store links (including a new ZBR U.S.A. store link!) pretty much as soon as they arrive. In other awesome Softseed Music news the Bok Suna tests were approved today. The 12”s should be in hand for the full release on August 29th!

ZBR Fest 2025 is over, but the memories live on through the video documentaries that we released a few days back. Check out the main fest video below. There’s also a pre-show video that you can check out by clicking on this text!

Shoganai’s debut EP was released on cassette by yours truly earlier this week to much acclaim. The self-titled came out in 2024 but we love it so much that we had to make a run of it. Only 53 made, for fans of Mahria, Blind Girls, and New Forms.

Serrate’s debut 12”LP ‘even the wind sounds dead’ officially announced! This absolutely ridiculous album is gonna blow people away as it combines the metallic hardcore of Converge and Crossed with the screamo of Orchid. Not sold yet? Jam that first single below, and prep yourself for the next single that releases on Monday through Not Just A Phase.

Nuvolascura continues to be reviewed and slobbered over by blogs, the latest saliva pool comes from Sputnik Music which you can access by clicking on the pic above or this text.

Zampler 25 is out and boasts 35 incredible tracks including seven previously tracks by Twins, Letterbombs, Mt. Ida, Our Future Is An Absolute Shadow, A Recorded Dawn, Serrate, and Lucidity.

Victoria three-piece needed a second press of tapes (as did we) so those are out in the world and definitely won’t hang around long! New art color for the tapes, too. The bandcamp copies are gone but the links to our stores are on that page, and we got a few copies left there.

Lambgoat posted an interview with CanaDave. It’s pretty extensive without being overwhelming, and offers a lot of info about our history and evolution. Thanks to Natty for asking me to do this.

Stuntman’s new album ‘Maximum Legal Wage’ was released yesterday and we moved half the tapes in 24 hours. It’s a low run so snag’em now if you like it dirty, metallic, and angry.

Japan’s Poetry Of Torch and Australia’s Gil Cerrone split cds release next Monday June 16th at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST! Two brand new tracks from each band. Our cds should arrive next week and US Dave is on tour anyways so they’ll go out before the month closes. Snag the last copies of Gil’s first and phenomenal debut below.

Big Stuff Thing now! Tests, stuff that was previously sold out, and sale items are available in the U.S.A. store here and Canada/International here. These products/headings will disappear in just under 24 hours at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST on Tuesday June 10th, so act now or miss out, your call!

Stuntman‘s first full length in a decade comes out this Thursday on Tomb Tree. We made 37 cassettes with a massive j-card filled with lyrics, with all variants coming swirled. Full release at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST on June 12th.

Poetry Of Torch x Gil Cerrone split cds next Monday June 16th! Two brand new tracks from each band.

I Promised The World was the most recent subject of the ZBR Roster Review series by This Noise Is Ours. The last few copies we had held back were sold immediately yesterday when the Big Stuff Thing went live. I don’t expect a repress anytime soon and this was the last release under the name Sinema.
