Important updates here first, the Usurp Synapse box bound for Canada arrives on Friday so 100% of the those stragglers will be shipped off next week, missing our official deadline by like a week. Not too shabby, I must say.

We did it! Adobe Homes is out! After a decade of silence the band returns with a new 12-track album that dips between dark interludes and noodley screamo. The packaging on this is amazing and you’ve got to hold one to really grasp how sick the screen-printed covers are.

Hetta’s new release and first full length ‘Acetate’ drops November 21st on Tomb Tree! The music video for their new “Plainclothes Man” is above, and somehow we have two copies left of their debut EP (which is incredible btw) embedded below on the bandcamp page. The new material is crazy wonky, bringing to mind The Locust, Usurp Synapse, and Missouri Executive Order 44.

Another music video, this is the last Twins single and music video for “Presence”. 12” LP full release on November 21st (records probably won’t be in hand yet) but we only got 30 copies for ZBR and we’ve moved more than 20 already! Buy links in the embedded bandcamp below.

Eklektik Rock reviewed the Lucidity x Our Future Is An Absolute Shadow split and gave it high praise. If you like your emo-violence unrelenting or beautiful, this split has you covered. A live studio video of Avery Friedman’s “Finger Painting” was released and you should def check it out. Easily one of my favourites from ‘New Thing’, this Brooklyn-based artist released her phenomenal debut earlier this year and Softseed is the only place to get those sweet, sweet, stupid fancies.

Usurp Synapse 2x12” for ‘Disinformation Fix’ with die-cut gatefold covers are at the plant with tests already approved. Holy fucking shit that’s exciting! Releases in October.

Hey y’all the Mourn Recif cassette EP release went down two days back, so if you missed please check out those first three songs by the band that CanaDave is in. Release show with Emma Goldman, Androgyne, and Internal Dialogue on Saturday July 5th at Oaklands Community Centre.

Coup D’etat has another pressing of cassettes, this being the 3rd overall and 2nd from Tomb Tree. Our first pressing sold out pretty quickly, and whatever we don’t sell the band will probably need cuz they move tons of merch at their shows. These go up on Monday July 30th and we’ve only got about 20 copies!

Othiel’s new album ‘World’s Fastest Car’ is officially out on cd! The physicals arrive at our US store on Wednesday and we’ll start shipping them out then. This new release includes re-recorded versions of their Palefade. split as well as five brand new jams of epic, devastating, and gorgeous screamo/post-hardcore. We only made 200 and shot some to the band for their upcoming tour with Knumears.

Ooo baby it’s double release day, as Tomb Tree just dropped the new andthecanaryfell. EP on cassette titled ‘As The Ice Melts’ and it’s a fucking nightmare collection of five songs that will test your brain’s resolve. Featuring members of Fallingwithscissors, this band creates a lush and crushing atmosphere not unlike Meth. and Detach The Islands. Clear /45, swirl /30, and test dips /6. Snag’em now!

Everything Remade had Victoria (vocals) of Emma Goldman on and it’s a great listen! Also we are down to just 10 copies of blob variant between ZBR Canada (ships worldwide though/linked here) and our bandcamp (embedded below). US store is sold out!

The Crowning x Oaktails split 12” came out on Friday via ZBR and Larry so snag a copy now before we sell out. We ALWAYS sell out of Crowning stuff pretty quickly and the band has a few shows with in mid-June where they will shed all of their copies.

Johnny’s Reco-mmendations: VALATIA = Oh shit this album is amazing. Both jarring and beautiful, if you like Aspartame, Burial Etiquette, or Clay Birds but want it a tad heavier you need to scope this immediately.

Senza’s ‘Celestial Body’ is officially out! 500 copies over 200 pink/blue/black merge, 150 pink, and 150 blue, all with etched b-side and 12-page lyric book. Merges are definitely the hot ticket item and are moving hella fast. UK/EU customers snag from Dog Knights unless you’re placing a multi-item order.

Concealer is the next ZBR release and it’s this Friday! ‘Heartfelt Entries’ includes two brand new songs and the ‘dissonance [all that keeps me away]’ EP on one convenient cassette. Jam the already released EP below!

Coup D’Etat has an 8-song cassette full length releasing Dec 13th on Tomb Tree but the first single is up on the artist’s Bandcamp page. The metallic screamo three-piece from Vancouver Island has been kicking ass at shows since I moved here and we are hella excited about it.

Orphan Donor’s ‘Old Patterns’ was the subject of the most recent Out Past the Rings. A reminder that 1) there are two tapes left in stock and 2) the packaging says ZBR188 but it’s actually ZBR189.

Vi Som Alskade Varanda Sa Mycket’s debut 12”LP is officially 10 years old! Holy crap I remember finding out about them beforehand and getting ZBR’s hand in juuuuuust before the 12” went to press on Blood Of The Young.
