Important updates here first, the Usurp Synapse box bound for Canada arrives on Friday so 100% of the those stragglers will be shipped off next week, missing our official deadline by like a week. Not too shabby, I must say.

Next, the US store sells A LOT of mystery items and we realized it was 100% out of stock…well, problem solved! Restocked and includes test presses!!! You can access that sucker by clicking on this text.

We did it! Adobe Homes is out! After a decade of silence the band returns with a new 12-track album that dips between dark interludes and noodley screamo. The packaging on this is amazing and you’ve got to hold one to really grasp how sick the screen-printed covers are.

Hetta’s new release and first full length ‘Acetate’ drops November 21st on Tomb Tree! The music video for their new “Plainclothes Man” is above, and somehow we have two copies left of their debut EP (which is incredible btw) embedded below on the bandcamp page. The new material is crazy wonky, bringing to mind The Locust, Usurp Synapse, and Missouri Executive Order 44.

Another music video, this is the last Twins single and music video for “Presence”. 12” LP full release on November 21st (records probably won’t be in hand yet) but we only got 30 copies for ZBR and we’ve moved more than 20 already! Buy links in the embedded bandcamp below.

Eklektik Rock reviewed the Lucidity x Our Future Is An Absolute Shadow split and gave it high praise. If you like your emo-violence unrelenting or beautiful, this split has you covered. A live studio video of Avery Friedman’s “Finger Painting” was released and you should def check it out. Easily one of my favourites from ‘New Thing’, this Brooklyn-based artist released her phenomenal debut earlier this year and Softseed is the only place to get those sweet, sweet, stupid fancies.

We actually sold out of these initially but I realized I kept one back in case of a shipping mishap, so this has been sitting around for a bit and we def aren’t making more. INOSUKE's new 10"EP 'Allomancer' is out! Orange/black merge and transparent black glitter are the variants, each out of 125. Featuring members of Stormlight, Lord Snow, Locktender, and Men As Trees fusing some the darkest elements of sludge, post-hardcore, screamo, and metal. For fans of: Fall Of Efrafa, Trainwreck, Lentic Waters, and Buried Inside.

Tomb Tree released both EPs by Germany’s Jota on Monday that includes ‘Cold’ on the a-side (their 2023 debut) and ‘Haven’ on the b-side (their 2025 follow-up) and we moved more than half in the 12 hours. This prodigious, crushing, and emotive band mixes the weight of Buried Inside with Svalbard-but heavier vocals. Incredible stuff!!!

Our next release is the Adobe Homes 12” for their new full length ‘Años’, which drops on Monday November 10th via ZBR, Dog Knights, and the band. Each party has their own variant, and ours just showed up two days ago so we’ll have official pics soon, but here’s a mockup of the three. Jam a few songs and pre-order the digitals below!

Today’s Last Fucking Copy is the final King Slender cassette copy of the band’s sophomore EP. We only made 50 and this copy was in purgatory until just know when I checked the stock. The Not Just A Phase Vol.3 compilation released yesterday! Some variants are already gone so don’t sleep on this killer 24-track tape (one song is a cassette exclusive) bursting with previously unreleased tracks from: Captain Jazz, Claire Voyancé, Coup D’état, Demersal, Drought, Gil Cerrone, Floating Woods, Garland Briggs, Geronimostilton, Heavens Blinding Hue, Hynoki, Lagrimas, Leda, Letterbombs, Módulo Lunar, Mourn Recif, myhateisabeautifulexistence, Of Death…, Our Future Is An Absolute Shadow, Retratros De Heroína, and Youth Novel.

Usurp Synapse’s ‘Disinformation Fix’ is just waiting on an updated/final invoice then we can release the pre-orders. This will likely be next week but I’ll have a proper update here first with an actual date and time. The 2x12” releases on 500 units of random colored vinyl with gatefold covers and die-cuts or perhaps laser cuts (that’s the last thing we’re deciding on). Speaking of little delays the Twins pre-order and music video were pushed back a bit in order for the video production team to not be rushed. More info on that as it becomes available.

This gargantuan release for ‘Disinformation Fix’ by the almighty Usurp Synapse is at the plant, and with all the bells and whistles on this classic we’ve decided to open pre-orders to help pay for these elaborate and amazing die-cut gatefold jackets. The 2x12” releases on 500 units of random colored vinyl. We’ll start pre-orders this Tuesday at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST in the two ZBR stores, none will be on Bandcamp. Please remember these WILL NOT SHIP UNTIL NOVEMBER. That includes orders with additional items in the order, the entire order will be held until November. When’s that? Shipping in November. Twins pre-orders for their new 12” ‘It’s_complicated’ go up for sale on Thursday August 21st. This will coincide with a new single and music video for it! Oh happy day…Thursday…specifically. Check out the first single below.

Hoari tapes are moving fast and almost gone. I’m pretty sure a decent amount of our followers weren’t aware of this phenomenal 2024 release so we’re happy to get it in the ears of new people. For fans of: Ditch Organ, Telos, Course, and Shora.

Nuvolascura moved like hot cakes. We’ve got our small leftover stock going up on the next Big Stuff Thing, the almighty 7th, on Sunday September 14th at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST.
