A bigass reminder that the Test Press raffle closes an hour after Little Big Stuff Thing tomorrow at 10am PST / 12pm CST / 1pm EST. As of now if you enter you will win, I have about 17 test presses but only about 5 entries so if you want a test press of your choosing for less than $4US then this is the biggest steal ever.

Okay so we’ve been hanging on to some backup copies in case the postal service fucked anyone, and as everything has arrived safely we can unlock those copies of very sold out stuff. On Saturday March 16th the Canada store will have their Little Big Stuff Thing, with the US version being held at the ZBR Fest 2024 Record Fair for those that miss out on the initial BST or are lucky enough to make the trek to rifle through the bins in person. This also enables people not attending the fest to actually snag something from this most recent Big Stuff Thing. Apart from the Test press raffle (info below) we’ll have Onewaymirror, Tristan Tzara handmades, Congratulations handmades, a single Senza, a few Blind Girls, Orchid 12”s, a swirled Gifts From Enola tape boxset, Euclid C Finder’s final cassette copy, a small stack of Burial Etiquette/Mis Suenos splits, a buncha screamo t-shirts, etc. This goes down on:

SATURDAY March 16th, 2024 @9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST

The Test press raffle product is live and closes at 9am PST when the Big Stuff Thing tab goes live, and includes shipping costs as if you don’t win a test I’ll just send you a ZBR 12”, therefore no one actually loses, you just might not win a test. This enables customers to pick up some rare shit too from the Little Big Stuff Thing and then I can refund your shipping difference if you’ve taken part in the test press raffle. Included are some test presses of records that won’t be out for months (Terry Green, Niboowin, Gossip, etc.)!

The U.S. is either out or down to single digit copies whilst this Canadian/International store has just a single copy in store with an additional single copy on Bandcamp, included are New Forms, Othiel, and Pettersson.

CanaDave’s 150th podcast is with Gxllium!. We released their split with Onewaymirror last month, with their debut album getting the cassette treatment next month, and the band is also coming to ZBR Fest 2024 to annihilate us all.

Tristan Tzara’s ‘discography’ releases in full tomorrow, January 31st at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST!!! 25 mages, 50 taco, 100 black, 125 random color, and 200 metallic red split between our two stores (bandcamp will only have the latter three variants) and Dog Knights (so if you’re in Europe please order from them!). Emo-violence lore comin’ atchya!

Edhochuli released their music video for “Questionably Paleo, Incontrovertibly Neanderthal” and it’s a fucking hoot. Bored In Pittsburgh also gave the band some love in their Daily Yinz so click on this text to go to that review, and watch the video below! February 12th is the full release!!!

Volp premiered a new jam on the (((((OPENmind/SATURATEDbrain))))) blog a few days back and if you’re a fan of Telos, Horsewhip, The Minor Times, Engineer, or Ken Mode then chances are you will absolutely love this French band from Paris! We recently moved a ton of stock including all Blind Girls but a few final random color 12” copies (available ONLY in the U.S. store) out, as well as just three Massa Nera test dips (one in the Canada store / two on bandcamp) then that massive release is totally sold out, and lastly Trophy Hunt’s cassette is down to our last few copies (three in the U.S. store / one on bandcamp)

2022 - 07 - 13 /// Euclid C Finder 1st variant reveal!

Don’t forget that July 19th is Euclid C Finder day! We were lucky enough to release the cassette of their early work AND the comp track from the Ones & Twos swirl tape, but we’ve been sold out of both for well over a year. Thankfully Heathen Hand Records let us jump on board the discography vinyl release! I just saw all the variants today and my socks caught fire. It was nuts. Euclid C Finder, so good it’ll burn ya feet. Here’s one of the variants!

CanaDave’s baby label Softseed Music just released the ridiculous collaboration titled ‘Amplifier’ by To Be Gentle and Opheliac. Truly amazing stuff that looks pretty sweet too! Jam/download/buy from the bandcamp link below.

Hetta’s ‘Headlights’ releases tomorrow July 14th on our little Tomb Tree label on just 35 tapes. We shat our pants when we first heard it. The Blood Brothers, JR Ewing, and The Fall Of Troy all wrapped in one, sexy, Portuguese package.

ZBR Fest Mid-West 2022 videos are finally starting to show up on youtube. The first band we’ve uploaded is Disperser and they kicked major ass.

Demersal did another sick live video for their Not Just A Phase contribution “Afterparty Depression”. Tapes are sold out but you can still nab those digitals.

Last Friday Operation X-Ray played more sick jams. Included in this show was Piri Reis (releases on Friday!) and Hawak from the Cube 12”.
