ZBR Fest starts today! The pre-show is going down at 6:30pm at Big Fernwood in Victoria (Vancouver Island). Tickets at the door are $35! The main fest is at Red Gate in Vancouver (on the mainland) with the doors opening Saturday at 2:30 and Sunday at 3:30. Tickets for those are $70 per day or $120 for both days. Can’t wait to see y’all!!!

The last ZBR Fest Profile Feature of 2026 goes to Fingerswoventogether and their new release ‘As The Lie Became Truth’ just dropped! Truly exceptional screamo from Florida. We have 50 of these to move, and we’ll move’em! Check the band out this weekend at ZBR Fest!!!

Detach The Islands new EP/collections released today. ‘Concrete Jungle’ contains some covers (Poison The Well, Death Grips), unreleased jams, and some alternate versions, with the cassettes including a massive audio interview between the band and CanaDave. Check that shit out!

Operation X-Ray played the almighty Drive Your Plow Over The Bones Of The Dead. If you wanted some promo pics I snapped some yesterday when the sun was out. We’ll have a stack of these at ZBR Fest to move and the band will have a buncha merch including shirts, etc.

Today’s Last Fucking Copy is a weird one, as we kinda helped co-release it but didn’t put it on our bandcamp page because we wanted Jeanne to get all the traffic. Perhaps because of that reason we still have a single 2x12” discography release by this incredible Euro band. This is the brown cover variant btw. These initially sold out but this one was added back in a year later and I think just no one saw it. So snag it below or forever hold your peace.

Drive Your Plow Over The Bones Of The Dead ‘collected’ cds are out! They arrive in Canada today after a hefty 5-day delay. Don’t forget that ZBR Fest pre-order tickets close on Friday morning at 8am PST and any remaining tickets will be sold at the door.

Orphan Donor new album ‘Ailments’ releases May 11th on Zegema Beach via 100 four-panel digipak cds, thus having us release the last three albums on different formats (tapes, vinyl, cds). Mieke and her other project Wallflower are making the trek all the way from New Zealand to play ZBR Fest 2026. That’s some massive stuff right there. Nsixhundred current discography cassettes were released on Friday and promptly sold out. I didn’t have the paints I needed until the weekend, so the “mystery sofa swirl” simply wasn’t completed upon release, but I finished them over the weekend and just put up the last stock we had (about 6 backup copies) on Bandcamp. Their bombastic, chaotic, and screamy-as-fuck metallic hardcore will turn the heads of fans of Gxllium, Hayworth, Rex Kwon Do, Me And Him Call It Us, .gif from god, etc.

The Our Future Is An Absolute Shadow x Lucidity split 7” was released on Friday! Two new jams from each band come on green 7”s and are limited to 100 copies. You can also snag a bundle with this 7” and the Our Future Is An Absolute Shadow x Komarov split 7” that we’re running low on.

Naufraage came out last Friday so be sure to check that blackened French screamo/post-hardcore out asap! For fans of Birds In Row, Celeste, Gros Enfant Mort, and Tromblon.

Oshera x Tamsen aka the Austin, Texas sibling split is out! Wicked throwback screamo for fans of: Matsuri, Coma Regalia, Tyranny Of Shaw, and Onewaymirror. First half has more an emo feel while the second half ventures into much heavier territory.

Check out the feature/interview with Demersal discussing their new 12”EP ‘Vi kunne ikke blive her for evigt, vel?’.
