Inosuke is a new band featuring Jason of Locktender/Men As Trees (guitar/vox) and Erik of Lord Snow/Stormlight (drums) doing a mixture of pummeling German metallic hardcore (think Trainwreck) and introspective post-hardcore/screamo (think Stormlight). Is it as good as you’d think? Oh, it’s fucking better. Digital/12”LPs should be out December, with a slight chance of the 12”s being in hand early January…we’ll see! The One Who Became Many - A Tribute to Coma Regalia releases in just under 24 hours (at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST) so here are the variants! 45 light blue/gold swirl, 30 blue, 20 dark blue/pink swirl, and 5 test dips w/matching swirl case!

Social Caterpillar’s ‘Alphabet Crown’ came out yesterday on Softseed Music and it’s incredible! A friend told me they sound like a mixture of Pygmy Lush, Okkervil River, old Manchester Orchestra, Margot & The Nuculear So and So's, and The Decemberists. Looks like I need to go check out all those bands!!! 12”s and tapes available!

There are a few unshipped orders from the Canada/International store for a couple reasons that will be out the door next week, this is because 1) I had the kids by myself for 11 days straight, 2) the shipping boxes I ordered took 3 days last time, this time they won’t be here until 17 days after ordering (they are set to arrive on Oct 13th), and 3) we had some Porcelain Joliette’s go missing so if your order hasn’t shipped expect an apology email and a substitute/refund option (there are only 3 orders that have this issue). Full transparency. Thanks for the support ya’ll.

Rotting In Dirt have just released their music video for closer “Gallows In Static” over at Brooklyn Vegan! CanaDave did his own little review/link/video post ZBR Fest 2022 with 1-2 videos from every band, most include totally different songs than were on the professionally recorded and cut Cullen Fest video. Locktender unveiled their new (permanent) vocalist to most audience members and they fucking ruined everyone. Super heavy (and occasionally gorgeous), it was one of the best sets I’ve ever seen from them. I do believe they might be working on new material, but don’t quote me. This video is from Day 2 of ZBR Fest Mid-West 2022 that occurred on June 12th, 2022.

France’s ANNA SAGE have released a few EPs in the past, the first in 2014 and previous in 2018, so naturally after four more years they have another release but hooooooly moly is it massive (and an LP instead of an EP). 11 absolutely devastating tracks of metallic hardcore/screamo in the vein of Converge and old WristMeetRazor. When we first heard this release we were floored, and not only helped with the 12” but also asked if we could head up the tapes, of which there are 50 and we have 40 of those (the other 10 are with the band). 12”s should arrive in April (along with the full digital release) but we already have the tapes and we’ll ship those out late March :)
