2026 - 4 - 27 /// Drive Your Plow Over The Bones Of The Dead cds!

April 27, 2026 by David Norman

Drive Your Plow Over The Bones Of The Dead ‘collected’ cds are out! They arrive in Canada today after a hefty 5-day delay. Don’t forget that ZBR Fest pre-order tickets close on Friday morning at 8am PST and any remaining tickets will be sold at the door.

Click here for the full premiere!

Orphan Donor new album ‘Ailments’ releases May 11th on Zegema Beach via 100 four-panel digipak cds, thus having us release the last three albums on different formats (tapes, vinyl, cds). Lambgoat premiered their one and only single, so check that out above or by clicking on this text. Super lazy listen is below, but there’s nothing fucking lazy about that banger.

Nima from Hillsboro was interviewed by Inlet Wire in a little 10-minute clip right alongside a brand new song and album opener HotGirlTM which is easily one of my fave jams from the upcoming ‘A Party in Your Name’ album releasing May 29th on Softseed Music!

Mieke and her other project Wallflower are making the trek all the way from New Zealand to play ZBR Fest 2026. That’s some massive stuff right there. Plus, she’ll be playing a song alongside Nicole of Mage Tears. It’s going to be nuts. I can’t wait! Softseed Music released ‘frau eva’ on 12” vinyl which you can snag in the ZBR stores now!!! Buy show tickets below or by clicking on this text!

Click here for the full post and podcast!

My boy Bobby from The Caution Children and Gillian Carter came on my podcast for a Bobcast and it was awesome. Love that dude. Come say hi to him at ZBR Fest 2026! A few things discussed: Hung, so much grunge, blazed in the church room, hella hat territory, practice pad bullshit, Primus and Danzig covers, learning how to scream in Cassettes On Fire, from "on-call" to "in the band", prime Boris, appropriate album art, upcoming Gillian Carter record, ZBR Fest 2026, etc. Bands played in this podcast: Caustic Wound, Clouds, Danzig, Mouthing, Pearl Jam, and Rickshaw Billie's Burger Patrol. Click on the pic above or this text to go to the full post. Stream/download below.

Operation X-Ray played Nsixhundred on their most recent episode. Tapes are sold out buuuuuuut if you’re coming to ZBR Fest I’ll have the last three copies in the distro!

Oh shit, Today’s Last Fucking Copy goes to yet another release that was sitting on the shelf but set at zero stock. This is the last ‘Unraveled’ 12” and it’s one of the beautiful multi-color splatters. Check back on May 11th for their new album ‘Ailments’! Snag it below or forever hold your peace.

2026 - 4 - 20 /// Nsixhundred released, Drive Your Plow cds on Friday

April 20, 2026 by David Norman

Nsixhundred current discography cassettes were released on Friday and promptly sold out. I didn’t have the paints I needed until the weekend, so the “mystery sofa swirl” simply wasn’t completed upon release, but I finished them over the weekend and just put up the last stock we had (about 6 backup copies) on Bandcamp. Their bombastic, chaotic, and screamy-as-fuck metallic hardcore will turn the heads of fans of Gxllium, Hayworth, Rex Kwon Do, Me And Him Call It Us, .gif from god, etc.

Just a heads up that Drive Your Plow Over The Bones Of The Dead ‘collected’ cds release on Friday!!!

You’ll also see a new Orphan Donor premiere via Lambgoat on Tuesday!!!

Softseed Music has a lot coming up too, including Mieke’s ‘Frau Eva’ now in hand and shipping, as well as a Hillsboro single for arguably my favourite song from the new album on Friday. We’ve now got Mieke up in both ZBR stores, US linked here and the Canada/International one linked here - both of which are cheaper than buying off of Bandcamp!

Everything Is Noise has been doing a ton of great pieces recently, and they just posted an excellent Carrion Spring feature for ‘Those We’ve Lost and Continue to Lose’ which we released on 12”LP just over a month ago. You can click the pic above or this text to access the review, listen/buy below, and also catch them at both the ZBR Fest pre-show aaaaaaaand the main fest!

Today’s ZBR Fest 2026 Profile Feature is for almighty Ostraca. They played our fest in 2024 and were easily one of the best acts. Super nice people. Wicked music. Insane live show. Ostraca are screamo royalty for a fucking reason. They fucking rule. Buy show tickets below or by clicking on this text!

This fantastic Fainting Dreams interview is courtesy of Idioteq.com, covering a lot in a dense post, ‘The Silence of Birds that Rarely Sing’ continues to get rave reviews. If you like your beautiful and your heavy but want them combined then hot damn there’s no better release than this. Read the interview by clicking on the pic above or this text. Listen/buy below!

Limbs received a most excellent review from Veil Of Sound. Check it out by clicking on this text or the pic above. Jam the final album by these Filipino greats below, a few tapes remain!

Today’s Last Fucking Copy goes to one of the Serrate test press…why do I still have this?!?! One of best LPs of 2025 on a super rare variant with alternate art! You can also catch them at ZBR Fest 2026! Snag it below or forever hold your peace.

Great news! Vibora has arrived in the U.S.A. so we’ll get those out to everyone asap, but please remember that the US has to send more copies to Canada for some orders so everyone’s should be in transit in April! Soastasphrenas also showed up but it’s only partially here so most copies can’t go out yet, but we’re working on it!

Click here for the full interview!

So in less than 24 hours the Concealer 12”LP ‘This Room Could Be Heaven’ releases! Tuesday March 31st at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST on 250 vinyl (although 100 copies are with the band and we already sold half of our copies during the pre-order) so if you are late you will 100% miss out on this first pressing. They just released an interview with Idioteq.com which you can access by clicking on the pic above or this text. Jam the first three singles here which is also where all the store links will show up on release day!

Today’s ZBR Fest 2026 Profile Feature is for Clay Birds who not only rocked the fest last year, but are playing both the pre-show AND the main fest this year! Yep, they’re that good. They’re also awesome people so that always helps. They released a wicked EP last year on ZBR and play a very original concoction of emo, screamo, hardcore, and rock. Click on this text to get tickets to the fest and see them live!!!

Carrion Spring had a wicked feature and interview with Idioteq.com about their new album ‘those We’ve Lost and Continue to Lose’. There’s a ton of interesting info about the band, the process, the recording, and how their grief coalesced into something incredible. Click on the pic above or this text to read the full thing. Listen/buy their new album below!

Wollruss played a show last week with some killer bands at the same venue that ZBR Fest is taking place at! Below you can scope some live footage from them alongside Teeth To Your Throat, Often Wrong, and Filigree Silver God.

Click here for the full post including additional links etc.

CanaDave had Nicole aka Mage Tears on the 195th OMSB podcast. Mage Tears is also playing ZBR Fest 2026 so give this podcast a listen, jam her material, and pick up a fest ticket so you can see her slow things down and provide some lanes for introspection. It was an honor talking to her and can’t wait for this new album. Click on the pic above or this text for the full post, or just listen to the podcast below.

Operation X-Ray played a ton of bangers (as per usual) and our very own Dagerman got played as well as Softseed Music’s Hillsboro with a new song off their upcoming album.

Gxllium! isn’t ready yet, and that’s totally cool. It’ll be worth the wait, and while you are waiting pick up this last copy of their previous album on cassette, as it is Today’s Last Fucking Copy. Snag it below or forever hold your peace.

My good friends in Hillsboro were a no-brainer to ask to play the fest, and upon seeing their new material (embedded above) last weekend I was like…goddamn, shit’s getting heavy. So Today’s ZBR Fest 2026 Profile Feature is for this ever-evolving band from Victoria. You can also see Nima from Hillsboro kicking ass in Wollruss alongside CanaDave. Click on this text to go to the live show review with videos from all the bands and/or watch the show recap video below!

Horns Up gave their premium selection of recent releases and our own Vibora made the list along with blurbs about Gravess and Sear. You can scope the list by clicking on the pic above or this text while Sear is linked below and Vibora is further down this news post.

Daris King from Clout Funeral (guitar/vox) was on the most recent Everything Remade podcast with Edie so you should give it a scope! Lots of interesting info in there and the ‘For Pepper…’ EP rules, which you can listen to and buy a tape of below.

Lucidity has a music video from Poorly Crafted Music Videos that caught the attention of Unsigned Showcoase which then played/reacted to it. You can see the showcase above and just watch the video on its own below. The Lucidity split with Our Future Is An Absolute Shadow can be accessed by clicking on this text.

The second Pure Antifascist Scrub on Toilet OV Hell rounded up a bunch of sick releases including our very own Limbs, Biological Fathers, Clout Funeral, and Vibora! Holy shit too much good stuff. Click on the pic above or this text for the full list, and snag the Biological Fathers cd below!

Vibora 12”s are still en route but we’ll post pics of them once they arrive, until then here’s a wicked review of ‘Egin ez dugun guztia’ by Rock Sound. Will the stream of constant/great reviews for this band ever end? (i hope not) Go to the article by clicking on the pic above or this text. Jam/buy below.

I couldn’t help but notice that we have just one copy of the Ditch Organ lathe 7”s left for ‘A Rapid Flicker of Light’, as this was a rare order for us and the material is incredible - you should definitely hop on that shit! And that, my friends, is today’s Last Fucking Copy. This shall not be repressed. Snag it below or forever hold your peace.

DITCH ORGAN ‘A Rapid Flicker Of Light’ cassette/7” lathe EP (TTT052)

For fans of: Thumbscrew, The Chariot and Fawn Limbs.

The debut EP from Eeli (Fawn Limbs) and Ian (Micro Colossal) aka DITCH ORGAN is like watching the highlights from a horror movie separated by short acid trips. 5 songs in just 7 minutes, the race through chaos and orchestrated destruction is reminiscent of Thumbscrew, Machinist, The Chariot in their venomous, unrestrained and violent interpretation of breakneck metallic hardcore. This release is the catalyst for pushing Tomb Tree Tapes into new territory, as we are dumping the “Tapes” from our name as we don’t want to limit ourselves. Therefore you’ll find this stellar release on both cassette and 7” lathe. The marble swirl tapes are housed (primarily) in paper bags with the center burned out and the lyric insert/cover behind it. Lathes are double sided stereo 7”s, 25 clear and 25 black.

Lathes /50, 25 clear and 25 black. Tapes /55, 28 on Organic Light swirl in white bag, 12 on Mold Death swirl in blue bag, 10 Rose Death swirl in brown bag, and 5 test dips in silver bag, all w/cover+lyric sheet. 5 songs.

Johnny’s Reco-mmendations: ROSEMARY NODS UPON THE GRAVE = This band has a new EP (following their split 7” with Heaven Through Violence of which we have just a handful left) that you should definitely check out!

2026 - 3 - 09 /// Carrion Spring released x Distro update on Wednesday!

March 09, 2026 by David Norman

Carrion Spring released on Friday in all its glory! Years and years of friendship, planning, recording, life, and a whole lot more went into this phenomenal full length ‘Those We’ve Lost and Continue to Lose’ which was recorded by Kurt Ballou at Atomic Garden Studios! Jam/buy it below and make sure you come see them at both the ZBR Fest 2026 pre-show and main fest.

Also this week, there’s a new distro drop on Wednesday that will include some key Dog Knights releases (Journal, Beau Navire, State Faults, etc.) then a Concealer 12” pre-order on Friday…what a week!

Today’s ZBR Fest 2026 Profile Feature is for Csilla’s Star Is Gone which features members of Coup D’etat, A Recorded Dawn, Mourn Recif, Wollruss, Bathtub Autopsy, and Hospice (to name a few lol) so there’s probably no better way to open ZBR Fest 2026 at the pre-show on May 1st, 2026 at Big Fernwood in Victoria on Vancouver Island. I saw them play their first show this past weekend and it was badass. They are the fist band in the video below, but you can also scope A Recorded Dawn and Hillsboro who are also playing the fest! Click on the pic above to buy tickets and this text to go to the live show review with videos from all the bands!

Click here for the full interview!

Rosemary Nods Upon The Grave did an interview with Cinepunx that you should definitely scope. We’re down to literally a handful of split 7” copies with Heaven Through Violence so please snag that before you regret it, as their new EP was just released so there’s no way these last through the year. Click on the pic above or this text to go to the interview, jam/buy below.

Click here for the full review!

US Dave’s all-star band Biological Fathers got a writeup from the always reliable This Noise Is Ours. CDs have mostly all shipped out but the Canada/International orders leave later today/tomorrow as the box arrives at the Canada store this afternoon. Click on the pic above or this text for the review, jam/buy below!

Dagerman’s new album releases March 20th and they just dropped another single from the album! I’ve been jamming this daily and it’s an awesome album with more beef than the previous album (which is also amazing, let’s be real). You can jam Oltre below! 12”s should be in hand for the release!!!

Click here for the full list!

Limbs and Vibora made Everything Is Noise’s February round-up for good reason. Find out why below! For the full list click on the pic above or this text.

Click here for the full review!

Vibora’s ‘Egin ez dugun guztia’ got a big ole 9/10 on Science Of Noise in Rock Magazine! This album is getting nothing but mad praise and I absolutely love it. Click on the pic above or this text to read the review. Jam/buy the 12” below.

Oh my god the day is finally here! Another decade-plus release is down to it’s last copy!!! This Montreal band ended up creating Yearning and Carcajou, two bands that ZBR are big fans of, but this release is more like Envy, Sed Non Satiata, and Amanda Woodward. There’s a sick video of them playing the Congratulations EP release show back in 2014 embedded above (make sure you get to that sweet sauce at 2:20+). And that, my friends, is today’s Last Fucking Copy. This shall not be repressed. Snag it below or forever hold your peace.

Johnny’s Reco-mmendations: YURODIVY = Ooooo baby they’re back after 5 long years! Two new songs at name your price.
