Both stores got a Distro update featuring a few key recent Dog Knights releases (although some have already sold out) as well as some test presses, and a bunch of ZBR USA updates with stuff that wasn’t previously in the store including a ton of Softseed Music releases. You can link to the stores below:

My good friends in Hillsboro were a no-brainer to ask to play the fest, and upon seeing their new material (embedded above) last weekend I was like…goddamn, shit’s getting heavy. So Today’s ZBR Fest 2026 Profile Feature is for this ever-evolving band from Victoria. You can also see Nima from Hillsboro kicking ass in Wollruss alongside CanaDave. Click on this text to go to the live show review with videos from all the bands and/or watch the show recap video below!

Tickets available here!

Click here for the full roundup!

Horns Up gave their premium selection of recent releases and our own Vibora made the list along with blurbs about Gravess and Sear. You can scope the list by clicking on the pic above or this text while Sear is linked below and Vibora is further down this news post.

Daris King from Clout Funeral (guitar/vox) was on the most recent Everything Remade podcast with Edie so you should give it a scope! Lots of interesting info in there and the ‘For Pepper…’ EP rules, which you can listen to and buy a tape of below.

Lucidity has a music video from Poorly Crafted Music Videos that caught the attention of Unsigned Showcoase which then played/reacted to it. You can see the showcase above and just watch the video on its own below. The Lucidity split with Our Future Is An Absolute Shadow can be accessed by clicking on this text.

The second Pure Antifascist Scrub on Toilet OV Hell rounded up a bunch of sick releases including our very own Limbs, Biological Fathers, Clout Funeral, and Vibora! Holy shit too much good stuff. Click on the pic above or this text for the full list, and snag the Biological Fathers cd below!

Click here for the full review!

Vibora 12”s are still en route but we’ll post pics of them once they arrive, until then here’s a wicked review of ‘Egin ez dugun guztia’ by Rock Sound. Will the stream of constant/great reviews for this band ever end? (i hope not) Go to the article by clicking on the pic above or this text. Jam/buy below.

I couldn’t help but notice that we have just one copy of the Ditch Organ lathe 7”s left for ‘A Rapid Flicker of Light’, as this was a rare order for us and the material is incredible - you should definitely hop on that shit! And that, my friends, is today’s Last Fucking Copy. This shall not be repressed. Snag it below or forever hold your peace.

DITCH ORGAN - A Rapid Flicker Of Light (cassette/7" lathe)
from CA$10.00

DITCH ORGAN ‘A Rapid Flicker Of Light’ cassette/7” lathe EP (TTT052)

For fans of: Thumbscrew, The Chariot and Fawn Limbs.

The debut EP from Eeli (Fawn Limbs) and Ian (Micro Colossal) aka DITCH ORGAN is like watching the highlights from a horror movie separated by short acid trips. 5 songs in just 7 minutes, the race through chaos and orchestrated destruction is reminiscent of Thumbscrew, Machinist, The Chariot in their venomous, unrestrained and violent interpretation of breakneck metallic hardcore. This release is the catalyst for pushing Tomb Tree Tapes into new territory, as we are dumping the “Tapes” from our name as we don’t want to limit ourselves. Therefore you’ll find this stellar release on both cassette and 7” lathe. The marble swirl tapes are housed (primarily) in paper bags with the center burned out and the lyric insert/cover behind it. Lathes are double sided stereo 7”s, 25 clear and 25 black.

Lathes /50, 25 clear and 25 black. Tapes /55, 28 on Organic Light swirl in white bag, 12 on Mold Death swirl in blue bag, 10 Rose Death swirl in brown bag, and 5 test dips in silver bag, all w/cover+lyric sheet. 5 songs.

Johnny’s Reco-mmendations: ROSEMARY NODS UPON THE GRAVE = This band has a new EP (following their split 7” with Heaven Through Violence of which we have just a handful left) that you should definitely check out!

2026 - 3 - 09 /// Carrion Spring released x Distro update on Wednesday!

March 09, 2026 by David Norman

Carrion Spring released on Friday in all its glory! Years and years of friendship, planning, recording, life, and a whole lot more went into this phenomenal full length ‘Those We’ve Lost and Continue to Lose’ which was recorded by Kurt Ballou at Atomic Garden Studios! Jam/buy it below and make sure you come see them at both the ZBR Fest 2026 pre-show and main fest.

Also this week, there’s a new distro drop on Wednesday that will include some key Dog Knights releases (Journal, Beau Navire, State Faults, etc.) then a Concealer 12” pre-order on Friday…what a week!

Today’s ZBR Fest 2026 Profile Feature is for Csilla’s Star Is Gone which features members of Coup D’etat, A Recorded Dawn, Mourn Recif, Wollruss, Bathtub Autopsy, and Hospice (to name a few lol) so there’s probably no better way to open ZBR Fest 2026 at the pre-show on May 1st, 2026 at Big Fernwood in Victoria on Vancouver Island. I saw them play their first show this past weekend and it was badass. They are the fist band in the video below, but you can also scope A Recorded Dawn and Hillsboro who are also playing the fest! Click on the pic above to buy tickets and this text to go to the live show review with videos from all the bands!

Click here for the full interview!

Rosemary Nods Upon The Grave did an interview with Cinepunx that you should definitely scope. We’re down to literally a handful of split 7” copies with Heaven Through Violence so please snag that before you regret it, as their new EP was just released so there’s no way these last through the year. Click on the pic above or this text to go to the interview, jam/buy below.

US Dave’s all-star band Biological Fathers got a writeup from the always reliable This Noise Is Ours. CDs have mostly all shipped out but the Canada/International orders leave later today/tomorrow as the box arrives at the Canada store this afternoon. Click on the pic above or this text for the review, jam/buy below!

Dagerman’s new album releases March 20th and they just dropped another single from the album! I’ve been jamming this daily and it’s an awesome album with more beef than the previous album (which is also amazing, let’s be real). You can jam Oltre below! 12”s should be in hand for the release!!!

Click here for the full list!

Limbs and Vibora made Everything Is Noise’s February round-up for good reason. Find out why below! For the full list click on the pic above or this text.

Click here for the full review!

Vibora’s ‘Egin ez dugun guztia’ got a big ole 9/10 on Science Of Noise in Rock Magazine! This album is getting nothing but mad praise and I absolutely love it. Click on the pic above or this text to read the review. Jam/buy the 12” below.

Oh my god the day is finally here! Another decade-plus release is down to it’s last copy!!! This Montreal band ended up creating Yearning and Carcajou, two bands that ZBR are big fans of, but this release is more like Envy, Sed Non Satiata, and Amanda Woodward. There’s a sick video of them playing the Congratulations EP release show back in 2014 embedded above (make sure you get to that sweet sauce at 2:20+). And that, my friends, is today’s Last Fucking Copy. This shall not be repressed. Snag it below or forever hold your peace.

Johnny’s Reco-mmendations: YURODIVY = Ooooo baby they’re back after 5 long years! Two new songs at name your price.

2026 - 2 - 20 /// Vibora released in full!

February 20, 2026 by David Norman

Vibora’s new 12”LP ‘Egin Ez Dugun Guztia’ is out in full! Be sure to check it out, as it mixes the heaviness of Crossed with the melodic control of Boneflower. The vinyl is done but hasn’t shipped to us yet, so I think we’ll have’em and get them all out the door by the end of March. The stripe variant has turned into a tri-color due to heat…stuff. I dunno, that’s what the plant told us. Regardless, it’s sick!

With ZBR Fest 2026 about two-and-a-half months away, let’s take a second dip into the second ZBR Fest 2026 Profile Feature. I don’t feel like Victoria BC’s A Recorded Dawn gets enough love, but maybe that’s because I get to see them every months. Their most recent split with Mourn Recif and their Zampler #25 contribution show the band’s evolution into dark, atmospheric screamo not unlike Ostraca, Infant Island, and Ambretta. Very stoked to have them playing the main fest with a buncha sick new material that’ll definitely turn a lot of heads, so come early! Click on this text to go to ZBRUSA.com

Hillsboro finally has a new song out (and music video) from their forthcoming lengthy EP this spring. Check out the video above and there’s a link to previous EP below. Wicked post-hardcore/shoegaze/alternative from Victoria!

Everything Remade had ma boyee Jesse Mowery from Biological Fathers (and Our Future Is An Absolute Shadow, and Apostles Of Eris, and Majorel, and In Wolves’ Clothing, and…you get the idea) on and you should def give it a listen, as well as peep/buy the debut EP from the all-star band featuring members of Crowning, Frail Body, Eyelet, and New Grass!

Click here for the full review!

Limbs got an extensive review from the always reliable This Noise Is Ours. We still got some tapes left of this final release by this Filipino band. Epic, experimental, fire that fans of Majority Rule, (early) WristMeetRazor, and Beast Jesus. Click on the pic above or this text for the review. Jam/buy below.

Magana was on Chapman Radio and did a four-song live video! Jeni is exceptionally talented and CanaDave has been releasing her stuff on Softseed so check out the video above and the newest release below!

In a band touring near Italy July 17th and 18th in Northern Italy? Hit me up for a possible fest invitation!!!

zegemabeachrecords@gmail.com
Subject: Northern Italy Thingy

Today’s Last Fucking Copy goes to the third Meditations In Affinity four-way split 7” ‘Solicitude’ featuring our very own Emma Goldman (with an exclusive track, no less) another really early Zibbur release (number 39 to be exact) which is the Secret Smoker x Alarms And Controls split 7”. This won’t be repressed as I don’t think either band is even active anymore. Snag now or forever hold your peace below. Watch the band play “Code Produced Comfort” above at ZBR Fest 2019!!!

Johnny’s Reco-mmendations: NO TRUCKS OVER SEVENTY-FIVE HUNDREDS POUNDS x IT NEVER ENTERED MY MIND = Sick new split on BSDJ, scope it!!!

2026 - 2 - 06 /// Mieke's 'frau eva' 12" pre-order + Biological Fathers on Sunday!

February 06, 2026 by David Norman

New Zealand’s Mieke released the incredible ‘Frau Eva’ in August of 2025 and Softeed Music was all over that, so they’ve got some “funfetti cake edition” 12”LPs that should be shipping in late April. If you like grungy-yet-beautiful shoegaze mixed with minimal ethereal singer/songwriter material.

Oh and in uhhhhh…completely unrelated news, we’ll be posting the ZBR Fest tickets next week! We’ll have the tickets up for the two-day fest on May 2nd and 3rd in Vancouver at Red Gate, with the May 1st pre-show following the week after.

d06e06a8-e9bc-4130-bbff-c9b6895fc353.jpg
DC_04083.png

Today you can get a sneak peak at the all-star release from Biological Fathers coming out in full this Sunday, as the band just put up the opener “Caddy”. ZBR had cds for the full release this Super Bowl Sunday at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST. These three songs are phenomenal and feature members from Frail Body, Crowning, New Grass, Eyelet, and Majorel! Holy fuck!!!

Clout Funeral’s new EP ‘For Pepper…’ releases on Monday via Tomb Tree! This thing is wicked and honestly sounds a lot like it was written 25 years ago, giving it a huge throwback feel whilst incorporating their own unique spin on it. We made a buncha tapes but with most going to the band we’ll only be keeping 25 so be sure to check it out upon its release! 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST…you know the drill.

Click here for the full roundup!

Everything Is Noise gave Sear some love…I think? Screamo never sleeps, my friends. Click on the pic above or this text to go there. Jam/buy the album below as our 50 copies have dwindled significantly since last month’s release.

Click here for the full article!

Vibora got a much more in-depth feature from Everything Is Noise two weeks before their new 12”LP drops. Like a mixture of Boneflower, Crossed, and Storm{o}, this Spanish quartet are gonna blow some minds. We’ve also got a second press of their previous full length which you can access by clicking on this text. Go to the article above. Pre-order the new record below.

Blue Youth got a shoutout/play from CHRW Chin Music via their 2025 Favourites pt.2 so please pick up the ‘Defeatist’ 12” cuz it kicks majory ass and we’re hella out their debut 12”.

Oh shit we still a Drei Affen x Coma Regalia split 7”! Much like the previous Last Fucking Copy, as we sold out years back but I imported the last copies from Europe a year or so ago and for some reason this last one is still here. Please rectify and pick this up from Bandcamp now or forever hold your peace. Thus concludes today’s Last Fucking Copy.

Johnny’s Reco-mmendations: EYELET = The new record from the homies is out! Wax mages are gone but nebula and the other two variants are still in stock!!! If you want the previous 12”LP you can snag ‘The Devil Shining Out Your Eyes’ by clicking on this text.

2026 - 1 - 09 /// Sear on Monday, Life/Sadness show

January 09, 2026 by David Norman

North Carolina!

On Monday January 12th the debut Sear 12” ‘O Merciful’ releases on Tomb Tree. Following up on their stellar debut EP featuring members of To Forget, their mixture of screamo, black metal, and post hardcore is fantastic. Check out the music video from the new album above and the first EP below. The new full length releases at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST and is /125.

This Sunday CanaDave will be here. He will have distro. This show is going to rule. Check out his podcast with Damian from Life and Sadness below.

Click here for the full review!

Coup D’etat got a very nice review on Not Just A Phase. Their new EP is fire and they continue to be the highlight of the Vancouver Island screamo scene. Check out the review by clicking on the pic above or this text, and jam/buy the cdEP below.

Rosemary Nods Upon The Grave got a sick music video done for “Every river will meet the sea” from the Heaven Through Violence split 7”. I think pretty much everyone is sold out except our US store which has just a copy or two left. Jam the entire thing below or just go straight to the US site by clicking on this text.

CanaDave plays in Wollruss and although we have no recorded material and haven’t played a show yet with our full lineup, here’s a practice video cuz it’s all I’ve got. Featuring members of I.O., Hillsboro, Mourn Recif, and A Recorded Dawn. We’ve got a show January 30th with the almighty Piss so please come out if you’re on the island or hell, even if you’re in BC!

Chalk up another oopsie daisy this last copy wasn’t in stocked in any of the stores. So today’s Last Fucking Copy goes to Senza’s ‘Even A Worm Will Turn’, the absolute last copy of anything we have. 12”s? Long gone? Tape first press? So out. This second run of around 200 tapes? Last fucking copy. Snag now (from the Bandcamp link below) or forever hold your peace.

Johnny’s Reco-mmendations: CARMEN SIXTEEN = This new EP is nuts.
