Speaking of Softseed Music, New Zealand’s Mieke and Softseed are teaming up for ‘Frau Eva’ to get on 12” vinyl. Not sure if there will be a pre-order for it or not, as we’re getting close to ordering but we’ll keep you in the loop. Hetta’s ‘Acetate’ is tracking hard, as it should as it combines the sass of The Blood Brothers, the unpredictability of The Locust, and the weirdness of Usurp Synapse into a completely new and cohesive album. Idioteq.com interviewed the band about their process to get here and it’s a great read. The tapes arrive at ZBR headquarters today so we’ll have pics later this week.
