March 20th = DAGERMAN new 12”LP ‘Di Fronte a Noi il Nulla’

March 23rd = GXLLIUM! new 12”LP (releasing digitally on Tomb Tree, 12”s on ZBR this summer)

March 30th = CONCEALER new 12”LP ‘This Door Could Be Heaven’

Consisting of members of other bands including our very own Senza, their 2025 performance kicked major ass so I’m super pumped to be bringing them to BC for the first time. Sungaze had a new premiere for the song “Be a Better Man” on Get Some Magazine. The 12”s just finished at the plant and will be in hand well before the May release date! Yaaaaay shoegaze!!! 2024 - 01 - 01 /// Welcome to 2024

Opheliac + For You, Always For You split cassette just released on CanaDave’s Softseed Music label. Opheliac features Taylor of Burial Etiquette doing some of the most beautiful stuff I’ve ever heard (think Grouper’s more accessible material, but condensed) and Lillyn who you will find hanging out at nearly every screamo fest around doing her best experimental noise/shoegaze/screamo hybrid. If you wanna buy a copy from this store to ship with your ZBR stuff you can find a few copies in the Softseed Section, linked here.

CanaDave has been posting how-to-dip videos on TikTok so if you aren’t following us there you probably should! Starting on Jan 6th you’ll be getting hit with videos about 4-5x per week!

Edie (Coma Regalia/Middle Man Records) and Seth (Funeral Diner/Repeater Records) had a Best of 2023 chat and holy smokes did our name come up a lot. Lotsa love to you two, and the episode was awesome!!!

And don’t forget that we released the No Heirloom self-titled 7” lathe a few days back! The clears went very quickly and now we’re down to just black, and we’ve got less than 20 left.

Operation X-Ray was at it again, this time giving our Inosuke some love. I’ve been told the Best of 2023 is next so I’m hella stoked for that episode!

2023 - 12 - 22 /// Gifts From Enola + ZBR Fest Wave 2!

Gifts From Enola released yesterday and we immediately sold all of the test dips and swirls, as well as over half of the opaque/transparent versions. Check out this incredible band on the 10th anniversary of their hiatus.

After our two-week break the VS Self ‘Collection 19-23’ cassette releases (that’s Saturday January 6th). Above are the promo pics for each variant, starting with the primary bird/branch/flower swirl (the most abundant) all the way to the test dips (the rarest). Every one looks badass and will probably fly out the door.

Obroa-skai is still getting love, this time from Everything Is Noise focusing on the unique and experimental side of the band. 2023 - 06 - 27 /// Distro Drop pushed back to 6/28

First and foremost, the distro drop has been pushed back 24 hours because, simply put, we have so much stuff to update. What do we have going up? Well a bunch of restocks, but looking next to me here I see vinyl by Telos, Osmorg, Flowers Taped To Pens, Reka, Resurrectionists, Shirokuma, Graf Orlock, Sweat, Dangers, Moxiebeat, Gros Enfants Mort, Barabbas Du Förtappade, Whane, etc. and tapes from Botfly, New Friends Fest, Un Automne De Plus, Life In Vacuum, Joliette, etc. and the full cd split series from Post Marked Stamps/Blue Post Snowmanz…you know, the ones with Burial Etiquette, We Are On Fire, Pyre, etc. 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm PST on Wednesday June 28th!!! Both stores!

We announced our involvement with Othiel via the music video premiere that went down yesterday. 12”s should be in hand this fall to release with the entire full length. Seriously, this band is incredible and we’re still in disbelief that they weren’t on our radar before submitting the LP to us!

Be on the lookout for a brand spankin’ new Lower Automation video tomorrow!

ZMAR got a nice review from the French Core and Co blog. Our sales of this incredible LP have picked up recently, and remember they come with screenprinted outer sleeves and gatefold covers! Click on this text or the pic above to go to the review.

Sear’s debut EP was the subject of Veil Of Sound’s most recent review. The reviewer totally understood pretty much everything about this EP, so read that well-informed review by clicking on this text or the picture above. We’re down to the last few tapes of this release!

Terry Green couldn’t make the 2022 fest because the Canadian passport office was generally drunk and untrustworthy. Luckily we got their sexy Canadian asses on the 2023 fest and they did not disappoint. Showcasing their signature sound and expanding it with new/unreleased songs, it was a fucking treat for everyone there. We will continue posting the single videos for each band that played ZBR Fest 2023 in the order that they played, so there’s more coming!

2023 - 05 - 26 /// New Vibora + ZBR Fest video on Sunday

The ZBR Fest 2023 documentary video with a song from every single band on the fest (including the pre-show) premieres this Sunday May 28th on our Youtube channel. Here’s a little teaser that sent me into a froth-mouthed frenzy.

Vibora has released the first single from their upcoming fall 12”LP release on Zegema Beach Records. This thing is absolutely fantastic and will definitely appease fans of Boneflower, Altair, Crossed, Descubriendo A Mr. Mime, etc.
