We got in some Orchid 12”s but they sold out insanely fast, so we’ll snag more for February.

Waiting for more Tristan Tzara news? You got. Check back on Wednesday January 24th!!!

Edhochuli released the teaser for their upcoming music video and it’s fucking hilarious. I cannot wait to see this thing. New LP drops February 12th and you can catch them at ZBR Fest 2024 or any of the dates from the updated tour poster above!

Click here for the full spotlight!

Riversleem was featured on the No Echo Spotlight series, giving their 2023 sophomore 7”EP a boost. Check out that incredible thang below, or click on the pic above or this text to go to the review.

Our Future Is An Absolute Shadow got some love from Operation X-Ray, who played “Martian Stealth Tec” on their most recent episode alongside a few more hours of bangers! Jam/buy ‘LP’ here!

A truly remarkable band from two decades ago, For The Mathematics, were on CanaDave’s podcast. If you aren’t familiar with this band…mmmmmm maybe do so ;) Click on this text to go to the full post or just listen below.

2024 - 01 - 19 /// Tristan Tzara is coming + Othiel interview

January 19, 2024 by David Norman

That’s right, TRISTAN TZARA is coming! Co-released with our awesome friends at Dog Knights Productions in Europe, we’ll have more info coming soon so keep your eyes peeled! Jam a track below if you don’t know this pillar of German emo-violence.

We snagged 25 copies of Orchid’s ‘Chaos Is Me’ 12”LP repress that will go up on sale Sunday January 21st at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST. We moved 75 ‘Gatefold’ pretty easily so if interested I’d recommend scooping this puppy up early.

Our Future Is An Absolute Shadow’s ‘LP’ is out and getting some love, the above review is from the one and only Sascha Kie of Twin Cities Screamo. Jam/buy below. This release is supposed to show up in Spotify and all other platforms on January 20th/21st.

Othiel was interviewed by Idioteq.com about their sensational debut 12”LP ‘We Will Be Our Home’. 1) read interview, 2) jam/buy 12”, and 3) see them slay at ZBR Fest 2024. Click on the pic above or this text to go to the interview.

Carrion Spring’s ‘how it all falls away petal by petal’ is now out on cassettes via Tomb Tree. Easily one of 2023’s best EPs!

Inosuke should be shipping in the next week or two, as they’ve just landed and we’ll have pics next week to boot. The Clerks in Italy gave ‘rage/ruin’ a great review which you can check out by clicking on the pic above or this text. Jam/buy below!

Closet Witch’s ‘Chiaroscuro’ will be getting love for a long time to come. Return To The House Of Grindcore justifiably put them on their best 10 releases of 2023. Get your copy of this masterpiece below! Click on the pic above or this text to read the full list.

Johnny’s Reco-mmendations: JANPALACH = In very sad news, Ukranian band Janpalach lost Vladimir Antonenko while serving against Putin’s Russian invasion. The lack of financial support to Ukraine from other governments is infuriating. My utmost condolences, my friends <3 <3 <3

Our Future Is An Absolute Shadow’s debut 12” ‘LP’ is officially out and making the rounds. It’s on Bandcamp right now with Spotify and all other platforms on January 20th. You can snag a black vinyl /100 if you dig the songs, and it comes with an insert so you can find out what the hell we’re all screamin’ about. Not Just A Phase gave a very awesome review which you can check out by clicking on this text or the pic below.

Edhochuli’s new single is out! Playing off the “Totally Caveman” title, “Questionably Paleo, Incontrovertibly Neanderthal” is a seven-minute romp through treacherous rock’n’roll mixed with hardcore and screamo. It’s a fantastic time that you can purchase in full February 12th on 12”!

Llewelyn released ‘Disposable Culture’ late last year on Tomb Tree and they recently released an official music video for the title track. Watch it above and jam/buy the EP below!

Tomb Tree will be dropping the Carrion Spring cassettes for ‘How It All Falls Away Petal By Petal’ tomorrow aka Wednesday January 17th at 9am PST / 11am CST /12pm EST. Above is the primary variant /60 reveal! Jam/download below :) Catch’em at ZBR Fest 2024!!!

Inosuke 12”s just came in, we’ll have pics shortly and start shipping later this week/next week. Bandcamp/Canada store orders will take an extra week whilst the US Store ships them to Canada. January 13, 2024 by David Norman

ZBR Fest 2024 full lineup (but minus the pre-show bands!) has been unleashed and it’s pretty fucking ridiculous to look at. Snag the two-day tickets by click on the pic or this text.

We decided to push back our digital release of Tristan Tzara as we wait for the Dog Knights store to re-open in February, and we have the VS Self discography and the Our Future Is An Absolute Shadow 12” that we want to push. Therefore we will post the digitals when the physicals go up for sale, somewhere between January 31st and February 7th, I reckon. Stay tuned here and you’ll be in the know nice and early.

Edhochuli has a new single premiering next week and just released their upcoming tour schedule. Please go chill with dem boys (the nicest) and watch them play (the bestest). Jam their first single below.

Our Future Is An Absolute Shadow is next! 100 copies of the 12” go up for sale along with the digitals on Monday January 15th at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST. Jam a song/watch a video below!

Closet Witch got some seriously creative love from Sputnik Music in their Release Of The Month as the review is set as a Seinfeld episode. What? That is correct. Go there by clicking on the pic above or this text. Listen/snag ‘Chiaroscuro’ below.

January 11, 2024 by David Norman

Friday Friday Friday is Wave #3 for ZBR Fest 2024! Final reveal (except the pre-show, still comin’ and hot as fuck!) as well as more two-day passes. We usually don’t sell many one-day passes so this year we’ve upped the two-day and decreased the one-day (there will only be 100 for each single day this year) so when your brain explodes upon seeing Wave #3 you can head directly over to www.zbrfest.com to snag your tickets (linked to this text).

Our Future Is An Absolute Shadow is on deck. Their 12” ‘LP’ has been a long time in the making. We still have New Forms 12”s so snag one below!

CanaDave’s Softseed Music label released the Social Caterpillar 12”LP for ‘Alphabet Crown’ in 2023 and it showed up on Everything Is Noise’s list, beating out every ZBR and Tomb Tree release!
