Gold Coast, Australia’s BLIND GIRLS have been kicking screamo in the ass for the better part of a decade at this point, so it was only natural that band progress in another new way on their most recent ‘The Weight of Everything’. With a new lineup, the band has shed the prettier and “skramzier” side and opted for a darker, more visceral approach that will leave the listener gasping for breath. Prepare for pummeling ten times over across two popping variants. We also have some sets available if you missed out on their previous/incredible endeavor ‘Residue’ that include the black swirl paired with the coke-bottle variant of the new LP. 2nd pressing released on wax mage with No Funeral and Life.Lair.Regret Records!!!

Trophy Hunt will be the next “new” release on Zegema Beach Records. They released a three-song demo last year and these jams were re-recorded and put on the LP (they sound even better!). This is a co-release on cassette from Zegema Beach and Middle Man Records, with a European label taking care of vinyl 12”s later this year. Be sure to check out “Beach” from the new album ‘‘ that is on the Sordid States v.4 compilation linked below! Keep an eye out for song premieres starting next week.

Phenomenal 5" split from one active and one now defunct screamy hardcore bands. PIRI REIS are from Malaysia, play shrieky hardcore and have Arwith from Utarid in the band! THEY SLEEP WE LIVE were from Germany and this is their last recording. Too bad, the melodic screamo/post-hardcore was fucking awesome.

I took this teaser picture awhile ago so that tape on the left was switched out for the Demersal/Piet Onthel/Letterbombs/Vientre split.

Piet Onthel’s new EP s(EP)kitomanditlanjey’ releases this Friday at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST on Zegema Beach Records via 75 cassettes. Keep an eye out this week for a song premiere on Brooklyn Vegan!!!

Orphaned from Ohio just released their debut EP on Tomb Tree titled ‘Hate Has Consequences’ and it slaps so hard. Prodigious and crushing black metal, doom, metallic hardcore and noise ships mid-May.

There were some recent reviews that went up for Blind Girls (via Horns Up linked here) as well as Hawak (via Crossed Letters linked here). This store has one orange Blind Girls left!

We got the email today! Loftus is done!!! We’ll have it in hand early/mid-May and shipping late May (inserts/shipping to Canada/etc.) with an official release/order going down at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST on May 13th.
