Wow. Here we are, so close to the end of the first half of my life. On June 13th, 2017 I move out of my house on Rosslyn Avenue South in Hamilton, Ontario Canada. Zegema Beach Records was born out of this house nearly five years ago. As a label, we have released 80 titles in that time, many of them being Canadian and local friends of mine. Most of these friends were met through creating this label and the (((((OPENmind/SATURATEDbrain))))) blog. The blog and this label changed my life. To all of my Hamiltonian friends and the sporadic few that are aware of ZBR, there will be a final The World That Summer house show this Saturday May 27th near McMaster University with Terry Green, Sarin and Huge Cosmic. This will likely be a very emotional event for me, and I would love to share it with you. The facebook event is linked here. The following week will be the my goodbye to Canadian and US friends in general as Zegema Beach Records Fest goes down in Toronto at D-Beatstro June 1st, 2nd and 3rd. We just put up the pre-order for the SARIN debut 12" titled 'Darker Lakes'. The Toronto post-metal band has been releasing EPs since 2012 and this devastating 6-song culmination of their collective efforts will be housed on beautiful blue wax and limited to 200 copies. Catch them at the Hamilton house show on Saturday May 27th (linked here), via numerous premieres in the coming weeks and/or on July 25th when this behemoth is unleashed upon the world.

A stunning debut 12"LP, Toronto Ontario's SARIN have been releasing EPs since 2012 and playing with the likes of Poison The Well. Continually evolving, this record showcases Oceanic-era Isis as a primary inspiration, but branching out with eclectic clean vocals, more technicality and increased keyboard usage. The stunning 12" is on blue wax, was engineered and mixed by Alex Gamble, mastered by Brad Boatright, and is the epitome of post-hardcore/post-metal. This is a corelease between Zegema Beach Records, Dingleberry Records, Arkan Records, R.I.P. In Peace Records & Dead Punx Records.

The JEROMES DREAM – It’s More Like An Homage To You cassette tape was released on May 16th, 2017 with all online proceeds going to the Flint Rising Coalition, linked here. 29 bands covering the screamiest hardcore band ever.
