When Spain’s Crossed asks if they can play your fest, that’s a hard yes or you straight up don’t know what the hell you’re doing. Wollruss is playing another show, this time in Vancouver at Red Gate with some local homies. This is our last show before the ZBR Fest pre-show (tickets linked to this text). I saw Filigree Silver God just over a year ago and they were awesome, I can’t even imagine how good they must be now!

Goddamn those early ZBR releases have started flyinjg out the door, as I think in the last two months we’ve sold our last copy of about 8 releases, with the next likely being Foxmoulder! The essential Toronto band’s 7”EP ‘Lethe’ is today’s Last Fucking Copy. Em (vocals) was instrumental (ha) in getting CanaDave into the Toronto scene back in 2013-2014, and the rest of the members went on to form Respire! This shall not be repressed. Johnny’s Reco-mmendations: FIGURE EIGHT = The guitarist of this band saw my Brahm tape and was like “hey, homies”. Then his band played and I was blown away. That vocalist sings beautifully but live it looks absolutely effortless. “hummingbird” is my pick. Can’t wait to hear what’s next!!!
