Sininen’s ‘I was recently upset’ was just released on Tomb Tree. Featuring two members of Via Fondo, the dense, gorgeous, driving, and atmospheric screamo is second to none.

Shoganai will be our next release on Tuesday July 29th via 53 cassettes, pictured below. 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST. Fans of Nuvolascura, New Forms, Mahria, and Blind Girls will be all the fuck over this.

Mourn Recif recently played the last BC show for Drive Your Plow Over The Bones Of The Dead with their OG lineup, and there’s video from each band below. Mourn’s next show is tonight alongside the homies in Coup D’etat and touring acts.

SALLOW MOTH’s ‘Mossbane Lantern’ is the brainchild of Garry Brents of Cara Neir and Gonemage fame (and a bunch of other amazing bands too), and our very own CanaDave shows up on five of the eight tracks. Check out the single below and snag a 12” copy if you’re so inclined.

The distro and restock update that was scheduled for this morning got pushed back to tomorrow (Friday July 25th) as we just couldn’t get it all ready in time. So here’s a list of what’s coming so you can prep. Operation X-Ray premiered the final Sininen single from the upcoming ‘I was recently upset’ as well as a Piri Reis jam.

Clay Birds got the This Noise Is Ours treatment. In response to the different titles (“of” vs. “from”), the band’s stuff is “from”, but the cassette j-card for ZBR was made by the band with “of” in the title instead. Is Canada Post still on strike? You betcha. Most Canadian store orders and some Bandcamp orders simply cannot go out until it ends. We apologize for any inconvenience but it’s out of our hands. Febuary cds came again. And then they went. Sold out in about an hour. We’ll make more, as well as tapes, and be sure that they’ll be ready for early May. Cuz…nevermind ;)

On Friday Coup D’etat releases their debut album ‘What Happens After the Epilogue…’ on Tomb Tree, and they’ve also got a release show with CanaDave’s Mourn Recif band, so we’ll have tapes and ZBR distro at the show!
