Concealer releases in a week!

Hey y’all, Concealer is next! ‘This Room Could Be Heaven’ releases as a 12”LP on Tuesday March 31st at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST on 250 vinyl. The band has 100 and we already sold 75 in less than an hour during the pre-order, so if this album is your kinda thing you best be grabbing it in the first 10 minutes lest ye be empty-handed. Jam the first three singles here which is also where all the store links will show up on release day!

As you probably have noticed, the new Gxllium! album isn’t out yet. There were mixing issues which means delays, so it’s coming but we aren’t sure of the exact date. Regardless, it’ll release almost immediately upon completion via Tomb Tree and Vamonos Records with vinyl following a few later on Zegema Beach Records and Vamonos Records. There’s like 3 tapes left of their previous EP so snag those asap, embedded below!

Today’s ZBR Fest 2026 Profile Feature is for Mau who are coming up from California to play Canada for the first time. This ex-Hawak band caused quite a stir before their debut EP as they were killing it at shows for about two years before they finally dropped their first official music. A friendly reminder that Fainting Dreams had their first and only song premiere from the ‘Silence of Birds That Rarely Sing’ cassette EP releasing on Softseed Music on April 6th at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST. This release has the band mixing their ethereal Ethel Cain-esque stuff with crushing black metal/screamo like Deafheaven and Old Soul. Dagerman 12”s are moving well, especially the sets that include the first 12”LP in addition to their new ‘Di Fronte A Noi Il Nulla’ full length. Bloom Dream just released! ‘It Didn’t Have To Be This Way’ is a seven-song rollercoaster of feedback, crushing instrumentals, screamo, and metallic/dark hardcore. CDs available now! Tapes available later this month!

Leavs’ debut 12”LP 'Natura Universal' releases tomorrow! We’ll only have 25 of these in North America, 15 on the Softseed Music bandcamp, 5 here, and 5 on the ZBR U.S.A. site. The vinyl is on two gorgeous variants and should be in hand and shipping mid-late October. This Spanish shoegaze/alternative band boasts ex-screamo alumni from Tropical Ice Land, and this album is one of CanaDave’s favourite rock records of 2024. It's gorgeous, heavy, melodic, and catchy. 2024 - 08 - 12 /// We're back!!!

Hey yo! What’s up!?!?!?! The Daves are back and ready to kick some ass. New Friends Fest 2024 was awesome and the we got some serious screamo desserts. What’s next? Well we had so much happen during our break that I’ll be posting today and Tuesday (which doubles as the Reia Cibele tape release on Tomb Tree), so get ready for a full course screamo meal. Screamo is food? You betcha.

Riversleem just released another sick music video from their second EP on 7” /100. “Exit Essential Dread” is a fuckin’ banger and bowling fucking rules so you can’t go wrong. Get Sleemed, my friends!

Olth came out the day the Daves crossed countries/flew across a country and we moved a ton in that time. We’ve got only a handful of Rando Rainbow left (I think just the 3 on bandcamp, 1 in the Canada store and 15 in the US store) and about 3x that amount for the tri-merge.

Tenue flew on their August 1st release, unfortunately CanaDave also flew to Ontario and didn’t have time to ship the U.S. copies till today. They should arrive and be sent out in two weeks so those Mericans need a bit o’ patience <3 We also restocked Bandcamp with a single copy of each variant from the Canada store, otherwise we are almost sold out! Ordering more this week.

Operation X-Ray played more heat last week with our upcoming Reia Cibele amidst more bangers as well as Softseed Music’s next release from Hillsboro on August 23rd!

2024 - 07 - 30 /// Olth + Tenue + break

Aight my friends, this is the last post you’ll see here for two weeks as both Daves are making the trek to Ontario. We’ll still have some social media posts here and there but no new releases after August 1st until mid-August and obviously we won’t be around to ship stuff out either. Olth 12” repress on Monday (pictured above). Tenue’s new album+tapes drop on Monday too (music video below). After that there’s a Closet Witch music video coming out over at No Clean Singing on August 6th. Then we’ll get some Nuvolascura cds up, followed by more fest VHS tapes. New Forms repress arrives late September. Senza’s new 12”EP is at the plant for a fall release. Legacy releases slated for tape, 12”, and double 12” before the year is out.

Reminder that Tenue’s new 5-song album ‘Arcos, bóvedas, pórticos’ releases in full August 1st, 2024. This thing is utterly massive and easily the band’s best work to date. They incorporate more screamo and Respire-esque sounds and it works out so damn well. CanaDave is currently dubbing the Tenue tapes, only 30 will be made for the first run, if they sell out we’ll do another 20 but that’s it!
