Llewelyn’s ‘Disposable Culture’ released yesterday on Tomb Tree and we have a limited amount of tapes, including the bulk of the 20 swirled copies and all of the test dips. The band’s noise-rock is on the heavy side (there’s a lotta screamin’) and certainly dabbles in post-hardcore, packing all five songs with serious punch. Jam/buy below!

Othiel will follow Obroa-skai’s ‘Science Progresses One Funeral at a Time’ 12”LP, with the latter releasing November 17th and the former December 1st. Jam the two singles above and below this text, fans of Crowning will be fucking stoked.

The Quietus lay down some nice words about Closet Witch’s ‘Chiaroscuro’. An incredible, self-recorded, solo project from Portland named YUKI (foreverwewillmissyou) came to us with this EP and we were floored. With an obvious ear for melody and discordance, these five semi-lo-fi songs play off the juxtaposition of ugly and beauty. This limited to /20 release were all dubbed from CD to cassette at the ZBR house, a first-ever. Housed in either a pillow box or gold bag with numbered insert. Truly a testament to the love of screamo.

We put up the closer from Long.Way.Down.’s upcoming EP ‘until there’s nothing left’ because, quite frankly, we felt guilty sitting on such a ridiculous release. All six songs come out March 13th, 2023 on 75 tapes…which just arrived yesterday!

My Hair Is A Rat’s Nest also vomited a song all over Bandcamp today, another closing track, this one titled “forever” from the full length cassette ‘fragment’ due out this Monday on Tomb Tree!!! 37 tapes go live at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST.

New Day Rising hath arrived! All orders from the Canada/International store have gone out with the US copies likely being finished up by next weekend. A box of the red/black were definitely smacked in it’s initial transit so I’ve got a bunch of discounted copies with corner dings, and only one regular copy left! We won’t be getting any more and Moment Of Collapse is already sold out so it’s now or never.

Brooklyn Vegan noticed that awesomeness that is the Yashira + Horsewhip split 7” (both musically and artistically) so be sure to get an unhealthy dose of heaviness. We moved more than half of these in the first day! /250 on white marble with glossy covers and matching red innersleeves. Mmmmm baby.
