Holy shit there's only one more country to go! This week we reveal the second Italian band that will take part in the 8-band/4-country 2x12" gatefold split. We helped release the band's 2015 12"EP 'Carnis Tempora: Abyssus' from Cremona, Italy - it's LAMANTIDE!!!! By far the heaviest band on the 8-way split, Lamantide bring together the booming and dark sounds of Botch, Converge and Norma Jean in a pummeling and nasty ordeal that'll leave your ears bloodied and bludgeoned. KIKEN is an alien life force consisting of two members of different species. Sasha (vocalsétranslator) is more well known for his guitars and vocal work in Life In Vacuum and his part in Congratulations, while Nick (instrumentalséKiken) has played in a bunch of bands as well as taken part in City & Colour songs (drums). The 8 tracks on this EP are staggering experimental post-punk, grind, screamo and hardcore that will fuck with your mind but have you dancing along at the same time.
