Delving into the second half of the 8-band/4-country 2x12" split that will be released on Zegema Beach Records, Blood Of The Young, Through Love Records and Shove Records later this year. Following Sweden and Canada is ITALY!!! Ooooo yeah there are so many good Italian bands. The first of two on this 2x12" is PASTEL from Bari! They have already released a split 12"EP with Merridew on ZBR and the label and band have stayed in touch since. Pastel consists of only two members but the punch they deliver is undeniable. Crossing emo, punk, shoegaze and screamo, Pastel have quickly made a name for themselves as one of the best current Italian emo bands. The Merridew split 12" is currently on sale here (we only have a few copies left) and the band also released a 4-way split 12" (listed here) as well as a 12"LP (listed here). The next band from Italy will be posted next week along with more updates, distro and an exclusive podcast!!! The 8-way split is listed below:
