Three countries down and one to go. First was Sweden. Then came Canada. Third was Italy and now for the final country, which should come as no surprise if you were paying attention to the labels helping release the 2x12" 8-way. Through Love Records is covering Sweden. Zegema Beach Records takes Canada. Shove Records will be handling Italy. The other label is Blood Of The Young Records, which means the fourth country is the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! And who is the first band? Well, it's SLEEPER WAVE from Massachusetts and they play and amazing blend of Level Plane throwback screamo, hardcore and even jazz. We are super stoked to be releasing music from such talented individuals...speaking of which, they are a 3-piece with all three members sharing vocal duties! Last year SLEEPER WAVE released their debut EP on cassette out of 100 (mastered by Will Killingsworth and released by Akashita Corp.) which ZBR has in stock for sale right here. We've also posted what we consider to be their best song thus far, and are excited as hell to hear what the band produces for this 8-way split. We're investing hundreds upon hundreds of dollars each month into new releases - money that also supports our family - but with a full six weeks of zero sales it has become obvious that the label is unsustainable in its current state. It's not just that we're not selling enough, we're not really selling anything. We can't continue supporting new music without others supporting us.

Members from Spanish screamo act OsoLuna have also formed a new band named DREI AFFEN. Last week they launched their bandcamp with a track from their upcoming 12"LP which ZBR is all too stoked to be helping with. We had to pass on OsoLuna's last 12" because of money restrictions and have regretted it since and we aren't about to make the same mistake here. The bandcamp is linked here and the song is also embedded below. Think OsoLuna but with no softer, ambient bits - as this is ferocious and unrelenting crust/screamo/hardcore.

Last week YOUNG MOUNTAIN, the post-hardcore/screamo band from Sweden that we all know and love, released 2 songs on a soundcloud premiere coupled with a new music video for the song "HMS Slowmotion" at Festival Rykten (linked here).
