Sorry, what’s that? We have too much happening today? Yes, we agree. As the year progresses you will see less and less co-releases because without being able to choose dates, our schedule becomes a mess designed by others and no one wins. That being said, have fun attempting to navigate all the shit happening today <3 Let’s start with that sick new Anna Sage music video for “Sinner Ablaze” which we have for pre-order on tape and 12” with the full release happening Friday April 15th!!!

There was an Alas premiere for a song from their upcoming 12”LP and we’ll have the majority of the North American copies. Get pysched by jamming a brand new song at Miss The Stars! This’ll see the light of day this summer.

Honest, stunning, and gorgeous orchestral chamber folk-rock from members of elite screamo bands such as Scowler and Alta (to just name a couple). This is the Wisconsin-based band’s sophomore full length and it takes the basics from their previous record and expand exponentially, adding more orchestral sounds, powerful lyrical content and some seriously infectious singing. Whether it’s the beautiful sing-along “Anti-Prayer”, the soul-oriented “Eraser”, or ambient/noise interludes, this album has something for pretty much everyone.

Friday is a massive day.

1) Crossed releases digitally, and the US store just received copies so expect all orders to be shipped (almost) immediately. There’s a pic above of the records they look stunning!

2) Anna Sage music video premieres tomorrow for “Sinner Ablaze” with the full album releasing the following Friday April 15th! Pre-orders are open now and we are shipping the tapes immediately.

In Tomb Tree news the Gilded Age tapes for ‘The Moral High Ground Is A Desert Island’ are done and also go on sale on Friday at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST and they look/sound amazing!

CanaDave’s offshoot label Softseed Music is releasing the Social Caterpillar album on cassette on…wait for it…Friday! Relevant for many reasons, but you should know that the band houses ex-members of The Great Redneck Hope, Scowler, Swells, and Alta (to name a few) play in this band so despite not being screamo they’re all still very connected to this community…and the album is absolutely mesmerizing. 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST. These tapes will be available on the Softseed bandcamp and a few on the ZBR New Items/Specials section!

Over 20 years since it’s original release, San Jose’s Ruhaeda are getting a remix/remaster treatment, tapes, and t-shirts!!! Zegema Beach has got them all, including the exclusive glow-in-the-dark variant that comes with a t-shirt…that also glows in the dark! These go on sale April 4th at 9am PST / 11 am CST / 12pm EST

Kodan Armada’s ‘Collection’ 12”LP sold out in a minute and ten seconds. We won’t be going through this plant again so consider this “never to be repressed”. The final ZBR Stupid Fancy is a sick 7” with a sickening cost, but with the awesome music on said wax we think it’s worth it. Find out when it releases April 11th.

Operation X-Ray played a Ruhaeda and an Eunoia jam so get on that, and jam the rest of it too, that USA Nails song kiiiiiicks ass.

Our amalgamation of interns, friends, and random people that is Tomb Tree officially released the Eunoia album yesterday. ‘Psyop of the Year’ was released by Nefarious Industries on cd and Tomb Tree on tape, with both versions being available in our store. Super awesome noise-rock/screamo/metallic hardcore/post-rock and probably some other stuff.

Birthed from the very sexual People’s Temple Project/Mrtex tour of 2014, this split has been years in the making and we are very proud to be revealing it to world. APOSTLES OF ERIS’ side is the band’s most cohesive material to date, reworked and refined, following a linear theme. Jesse (instruments/vox) has played in a vast array of screamo bands including but not limited to Altar Of Complaints, Majorel, In Wolves Clothing while Dave (vox/lyrics) has spent time in Mrtex, Swallows Nest and The World That Summer. Their seven tracks fall somewhere between Capsule and Cease Upon The Capitol. PIQUE has also been working on these songs for years, as can be seen by the plethora of demos leading up to this. Their seven jams are both their darkest and most technical/playful, with Iwrotehaikusaboutcannibalisminyouryearbook being the most obvious comparison.
