Cara Neir’s ‘Phantasmal’ is coming up very, very soon. July 29th to be exact. We’ve got 150 of the primary variant, 100 handmades, and 25 wax mages going up at 9am PST / 11am CST /12pm EST. Only one copy of each variant allowed per order. 16 tracks of hardcore/grind/black-metal/chip-tune/noise/screamo bliss continue the 'Phase Out’ trilogy, this one being horror-themed and ominous as fuck. There’s a few guest appearances on this one including our very own CanaDave on a couple o’jams. We’ll have a premiere coming this week along with variant reveals, so until then jam this absolutely amazing music video for “Damnation” from their 2021 ‘Phase Out’ cassette/12”LP.

Joliette recently did an Audiotree session and kicked major ass. They also played their ‘Cube’ track “Segundero” (2nd song in) which continues to sell, so despite having a ton of copies I don’t think these will be sticking around for years.

Johnny’s Reco-mmendations: AMIA VENERA LANDSCAPE = Absolutely obsessed with this ill-fated band and the album that was not to be. Luckily, this album was meant to be. Nicholas is a goddamned masterpiece.

2022 - 07 - 07 /// Euclid C Finder on the 19th! Cube today!

We’ve been out of the Euclid C Finder tapes as well as the Ones & Twos comp for a few years now, so it is with great excitement that we are announcing a 12” discography co-release with our buddies at Heathen Hand Records! 300 12”s with remastered songs and some seriously stupid variants. Full release July 19th @9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm PST. We’ll toss up the remasters on release day but you can jam the oldies below!

Cube releases today via ourselves and Left Hand Label (EU) at 3pm PST / 5pm CST / 6pm EST on two stellar variants (neither of which we’ve done before!) and has new jams from Hawak, Joliette (technically this song is a few months old now), Our Future Is An Absolute Shadow, Eyelet, Elle, and Burial Etiquette.

This Noise Is Ours did a review for the long lost Subjects/Rulers full length cassette, as they recorded, released, and then broke up due to geographical circumstances. 2022 - 07 - 06 /// Cube reveal!

Now that the premiere and bands have been revealed, let’s take a look at those CUBE 12”s shall we? These gorgeous beauties go on sale on Thursday at 3pm PST / 5pm CST / 6pm EST. 250 on “Blue Blob on Clear“ and 250 “Ghostly”. Two new tracks from each band expect Joliette (who has one) and Our Future Is An Absolute Shadow (who has five). This is a co-release with Left Hand Label who has about 1/5 of the pressing, we have 3/5 and the bands have the rest. Jam that new Hawak track below!

Cara Neir is finished at the plant and I’m paying for it today so those will be in hand for our July 29th drop. 275 copies across some absolutely ridiculous variants that we’ll start laying out variant pics in about 1-2 weeks.

We’ve also got a co-release with Heathen Hand coming out on the 19th of July. Here’s one of the variants!

Because of our LOFTUS release of ‘Hugs and Drugs’ on 12”LP, we caught the attention of Heavy Heavy Low Low in a post…so I jumped at that opportunity and asked Robbie (vocals) to come on my podcast. He did. It was awesome. We chatted about HHLL and Loftus a bunch. And we’ve still got Loftus copies left of the handmades in both stores! And HHLL is on tour right now! 2022 - 02 - 27 /// Distro update!

Out Past the Rings is back! After almost two months on inactivity I finally got my shit together, asked my kids to make the intro, then banged out the rest. This is #101 and is for Massa Nera’s ‘Los Pensamientos De Una Cara Palida’ 12”LP that we just added restocks to from Germany because we sold out.

Not only that! But in addition to Massa Nera 12”s going back up in the Zegema Beach Records Releases section, the New Items/Specials section of this store has been updated with early tape EPs, patches, some old zamplers, other cds, Illuminate My Heart distro (including Heavy Heavy Low Low + Shizune), No Funeral distro (including Supine + Foxmoulder), and probably some other shit. Joliette released a video for their 6-way split 12” track “Segundero” a few days ago and it’s fucking siiiiiiick. Not only is it a ridiculous song, but the skateboard video accompaniment is most excellent. We have approved the test presses for this incredible release weeks ago so hopefully they’ll be in-hand this spring!

Operation X-Ray Radio hosted four of our band’s songs in a row recently on the Tofino, Canada station. Check out the episode here in which they give some serious props that even brought CanaDave out of his funk.
