Among Light tapes have been done for about a month and next week we finally unleash a super limited batch of 26 that includes some housed in (I would think) the first ever swirl dipped cassette pillow cases. These release on Monday September 12th via our little bitty baby Tomb Tree!

This band features the drummer and one of the guitar players that dropped constant fire with Tentacles, so you know you’re getting some top notch dark, writhing screamo. Here’s the most recent Tentacles LP that we have but a copy or two left of.

Out Past the Rings for Respire’s ‘Denouement’ 12”LP. I think we are officially sold out of this, but have a handful of ‘Gravity and Grace’ left as well as tapes for ‘Black Line’.

Armywives shattered my expectations of them, and by quite a fair margin. After finding out about them from posting those sick Kidcrash-esque singles a few years back, we were lucky enough to release their last two EPs, the first as a tape and the second as part of the 2021 4-Way 12”. They were perhaps the most lively, entertaining, and excited band of Day 2 at ZBR Fest Mid-West 2022 on June 12th, 2022.

2022 - 08 - 22 /// Time for a break

Hello my friends. Tis the bi-annual Two Week Break (aka get our shit together) and it starts today (Monday August 22nd). We’ll be back on September 4th and ready to push this incredible Rotting In Dirt 12” down your earholes. After that it’s a continuous onslaught of killer music that will include vinyl releases from Lower Automation, Massa Nera, Of Death, and New Day Rising (just to name a few!). Questions?

Q: Are the stores open? YES! The stores are open! You just might not see a shipping notification until early September.

Q: Are you shipping during those two weeks? MAYBE! But don’t count on all orders being processed during the break.

Q: Will there be updates on social media from ZBR? NO! See ya September 4th.

We got some restocks including the Coma Regalia / Tapestry 9” (linked here) as well as a single copy of the self-titled Black Love 12” (linked here), here’s the Out Past the Rings for the latter.

Social Caterpillar was a bit outside the screamo/hardcore box but as CanaDave loves those people and has them on his side label Softseed Music we asked them to open up the final day, Day 2 of ZBR Fest Mid-West 2022 on June 12th, 2022. It worked out really fucking well, as the change of pace was palpable and the band had people swaying and taking note of the gorgeous vocal harmonies and that incredible violin.

Johnny’s Reco-mmendations: FRANKIE COSMOS = Hooooooooly good goddamn am I ever obsessed with Greta Kline at the moment. ‘Daddy Cool’ was the first album I heard by her and I’m still listening to it every freakin’ day. Lo-fi bedroom folk with childish vocals / ffo: Joanna Newsom, Nicole Dollanganger, Ramona Cordova. My life is now complete, thank you Tony <3
