2023 - 11 - 27 /// Podcasts, Interviews, & Bandcamp updates

November 27, 2023 by David Norman

CanaDave spent the week scrounging through old boxes and his once stupid personal variant collection in order to update the ZBR Bandcamp stock with tons of long sold-out and in some cases never before seen variants!!! Click this text to go there. Crowning and Dave Cullen come back tonight so US orders will start shipping again mid-late this week as he attempts to shed the regret of post-tour life. During our little break Onewaymirror 12”s finished up so those should be ready for sale mid-December. Othiel’s 12”LP releases this Friday! Get stoked. Not stoked enough? Podcast. Too stoked? Podcast. Embedded below or click on the pic above to go to the full post.

Idioteq.com did a massive 12-band Coma Regalia cover compilation interview! We’ve got about 25% of our stock left and would love to clear it out and send Edie the last of the money (first chunk already sent). You can read up on it by clicking on the pic above or this text. Jam/buy below.

Obroa-skai got some serious understanding and praise from DIY Conspiracy. We released ‘Science Progresses One Funeral at a Time’ recently so be sure to jam it below. You can go to the review by clicking on this text or the pic above.

Llewelyn’s amazingly versatile and kickass new EP ‘Disposable Culture’ did a track-by-track interview with none other than our rock Idioteq.com which you can access by clicking on this text or the pic above. Jam/buy it in all its gloriousnessness below. Yes, that is a word.

CanaDave made some ridiculous new shapes in the Out Past the Rings for New Forms’ debut EP ‘I don’t want to live my life again’. With the new LP dropping but a month ago, this was impeccable timing! There is one copy left below!!!

NEW FORMS - I don't want to live my life again (cassetteEP)
Sold out
NEW FORMS - I don't want to live my life again (cassetteEP)
CA$17.50

NEW FORMS - I don’t want to live my life again (cassetteEP) (ZBR178)

For fans of: Ampere, Loma Prieta, Dim Into Dross and Capsule.

I loved it. You loved it. The internet publication Deli Magazine loved it. And for all these reasons we needed to do a second pressing. Chaotic, claustrophobic, cathartic. Any adjective that begins with C describes this release. "I don't want to live my life again" fills all the space in the room the way bands like Ampere, Capsule, and Loma Prieta do. And we have two options because we know you love options A gorgeous fully enclosed O-card with a new murky blue/green/yellow color scheme and dark blue cassette. download code included. Or standard Jcard with pink/blue swirl cassette that matches the art. download code included.

48 on blue w/o-card
20 on pink/blue swirl

2023 - 10 - 20 /// New Forms + Othiel

October 20, 2023 by David Norman

New Forms released yesterday to a rabid screamo base who ate that shit up, as one would expect. This album was shared all over the place and we moved through more than half of the blue /100s in 12 hours. Definitely snag one sooner rather than later as the band has shows lined up and so 12 tracks will continue to make the rounds on social media. Our records shipped today so we should have them just before Halloween and we’ll get them out as promised in early November. A friendly reminder that we have to charge more on Bandcamp cuz of the fees, so we strongly encourage going straight to our two stores (linked on bandcamp) to get it for cheaper.

Othiel’s new single “Erasing” premiered on (((((OPENmind/SATURATEDbrain))))) last night. We already have these 200 black 12”s in hand which will drop on December 1st via Zegema Beach Records. For fans of: Crowning, Caution Children, Eyelet, Gillian Carter, etc. Click on the picture above or text to go to the premiere, or just jam that shit below.

Borderline Fuckup gave The One Who Became Many - A Tribute to Coma Regalia a nice push with additional love for Edie Quinn and the band. Digital sales and profit for the next two weeks go to the band! Click on the pic above or this text to go there.

Tomb Tree’s next release will be Tuesday October 24th at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST via 32 tapes. Here is the test dip /2. Currently it’s a mystery unless you can actually see that cover :)

Johnny’s Reco-mmendations: REGARDING AMBIGUITY = Woah nelly! This new album is faaaaantastic! Deep screamo, baby.
