You likely missed GIRL ARM’s ‘Outside Language’ when it was initially released digitally in 2012 (just like we did) but fear not! ZBR just released that fantastic, Canadian math/noise-rock gold on 33 tapes with three different cover varaints! Nab one before they’re all gone.

Originally released digitally in 2012, Zegema Beach Records fell in love and asked for some tapes, to which the band agreed. So in 2018 we made 33 tapes, and now at the tail-end of 2021 we want to remind you again about one of the best Canadian math-rock albums of the last decade. Mixing equal parts jangly North Of America with the sassiness of For The Mathematics (p.s. same drummer!) these 8 tunes are as fun as they are jarring. Definitely influenced by Faraquet and At The Drive In. Girl Arm has since changed their band name to WORKS. We also updated the digital release with an unreleased live track!
12” lathes /37, 18 black and 19 clear. Pale yellow tinted cassette/30 with j-card (blue sparkle/white sparkle/two-color blue) and gold foil ZBR stamp /30. 8 tracks.

On November 26th we released the NUVOLASCURA teaser trailer which was created by Dave Cullen of Crowning. The LP will be released in January of 2019, with a single being released in December and another on the January 1st, 2019 Zampler #12 compilation. Only 200 are being pressed to don’t sleep on it.
Lastly, as per usual there is some distro updates, the most notable addition would be the Envy/Love 12” tribute compilation test presses that are numbered out of 5. There are only two left if you’d like a slice of jealousy/worship.
SEYARSE - Congealed Releases cassette discography (ZBR208)
For fans of: Louise Cyphre, Jeromes Dream and Republic Of Dreams.
Can you believe it? Chicago’s greatest emo-violence band SEYARSE (members of Piglet) get a discography release. Phenomenal, scorching, shrieky hardcore in the vein of Utarid, Textbook Traitors and Deadseraphim. This very limited cassette release (60 copies) houses their debut 7”, split with La Mantra De Fhiqria as well as a bonus radio broadcast from 88.7 WLUW circa 2004.
Cassettes /60: 25 on transparent yellow, 25 on swirl, 5 on white and 5 test dips, all w/tracklist j-card and download code.
