The Not Just A Phase Vol.1 cassette compilation was just released! Only 42 copies exist over four variants plus some test dips. Unreleased jams from To Be Gentle, Warren Of Ohms, Our Future Is An Absolute Shadow, Gillian Carter, Demersal, Letterbombs and Piet Onthel, as well as 9 other/stellar jams from Apostles Of Eris, Pique, Snag, Bucky, Kid Feral, Bleachdrinker, Yearning, and Blind Girls.

CanaDave did a Blue Youth bookend Out Past the Rings for ‘EP + 2 Songs’ which is the first in the ‘Chronological Nightmares’ series. What the hell am I talkin’ about? Watch the video. Blue Youth was truly incredible and you probably skipped over it. Rectify!!!

We officially released the Wild Guess discography 12” titled ‘Wild Guess’ on 91 seafoam green 12”s on 180gram vinyl. Members of Kidcrash, Logs, Foton Kuşağı, and Anne played slightly more groove and rock in their post-hardcore/screamo. It’s awesome and it’s already 50% out after 24 hours.

Extremely catchy/groovy post-hardcore/noise rock/post-screamo. This Portland, Oregon three-piece featured members of Logs, Kidcrash, Foton Kuşağı, Anne and recorded two complete EPs which are now housed on this very limited 12” pressing /91. The mixture of styles screams Stop It!, Kidcrash, Massa Nera, Wow Owls!, Dream Caste, etc. and is a hidden gem of any of the aforementioned bands. These were not treated nicely by the postal service so our copies have top seam splits on the jackets. Nothing terrible, corners are all fine still. Slightly discounted cuz we only made 91 :(

Gold Coast, Australia’s BLIND GIRLS have been kicking screamo in the ass for the better part of a decade at this point, so it was only natural that band progress in another new way on their most recent ‘The Weight of Everything’. With a new lineup, the band has shed the prettier and “skramzier” side and opted for a darker, more visceral approach that will leave the listener gasping for breath. Prepare for pummeling ten times over across two popping variants. We also have some sets available if you missed out on their previous/incredible endeavor ‘Residue’ that include the black swirl paired with the coke-bottle variant of the new LP. 2nd pressing released on wax mage with No Funeral and Life.Lair.Regret Records!!!

Zegema Beach Records Fest Mid-West 2022 was a resounding success! There was so much positivity and love in the air while EVERY (stop) FUCKING (stop) BAND (stop) KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLED IT. I just arrived back in Canada and am still riding high off these endorphins (and delirium via lack of sleep) but please note that we’ll definitely do this again next year, likely in early-mid May! USofDave shot some seriously killer footage with help from Wyatt and Brian H. that will go up…let’s say late June or July. CanaDave also shot a song from each band and will post them on his (((((OPENmind/SATURATEDbrain))))) blog after the professional stuff is posted.

To everyone who came out and showed support from around the world, thank you. What a truly A++++ experience and testament to the screamo scene.

I’m all packed and ready to go and the purple Loftus zip-ups were just dropped off and look absolutely stunning with this version having a fire iridescent back and front, so I’ll bring one of each size with me (M/L/XL).
