Operation X-Ray played some Sear, Letterbombs, Crowning, and Eyelet on last Friday’s show. I reckon you’ll find more stuff on tonight’s episode!!!

Nine Hertz also gave some ZBR love in a recent podcast to Yashira. Just a correction (which was my initial mistake) that the Yashira is not their last song before hiatus, but one of the last songs before hiatus, so I reckon we’ll get some more this or next year?!?!

In mid-2020 ZBR shipped over a bunch of tapes from essential Malaysian screamo label Utarid Tapes, and within that box of joy came some AMU DARIA tapes. We loved those tapes so much and we didn’t want North Americans to suffer the same fate as our bank account (shipping from Malaysia is expensive) that we’ve created 78 Zegema Beach Records’ editions of AMU DARIA’s absolutely phenomenal emo-violence EP debut. 7 tracks of dark, writhing, cathartic emo-violence.

Cassettes /78, 52 on Blue Flame Swirl, 11 on Silver, 10 mystery swirls and 5 test dips, all with fold-out/double-sided j-card w/lyrics and download code. 7 songs.

2022 - 08 - 07 /// Ensa & Terry Green tapes are coming

***With Terry Green playing the 2022 New Friends Fest and everyone being long sold out of 12”s, the band asked me to make some tapes. Voila! These beauts are very limited and go on sale this Tuesday at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST.

***Well if Tuesday at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST is a thing we might as well run with and release our Ensa 12” ‘アラガウ + Demo‘ simultaneously this August 9th, 2022. Japanese screamo/emo-violence/hardcore/neo-crust with a heavy emphasis on “dark” and “pulverizing”. We got 80 copies of this 250 pressing.

***Boxes are still en route for Cara Neir inserts (US bound) and Piri/Euclid/Cara vinyl (Canada bound) so if your order hasn’t shipped…that’s why. The Cara Neir inserts were delayed by the US post so there’s nothing we can do there. CanaDave was on vacation until recently so we purposefully shipped the vinyl box to Canada to show up upon his arrival back home. If tracking is to be believed all the Canada orders should be out by August 11th except Euclid which arrives on the 15th.

The (((((OPENmind/SATURATEDbrain))))) blog posted a massive review of the Blind Girls show in Kitchener/Waterloo at The Button Factory on July 28th, 2022. The Australian band’s full set is posted along with a full set from Yearning and single-song videos from Sonagi, Botfly, and Basque. We made some beautiful swirl tapes for the tour and will posting ours on Saturday August 20th, our last day before a much needed 2-week breather. 2022 - 01 - 07 /// Almost halfway through the break

What’s up? Oh we’re on break. Not really a break per se, but a releasing/social media break (kinda) while we do a bunch of other work we’ve fallen behind on (messages in particular) and like…life and shit. USofDave made a sick video outlining our issues in 2021 and moving forward into 2022. It’s really well-made and hilarious. Check it out below. The Daves will also be doing a podcast together this week that should air mid-late January outlining our favourite albums of 2021.

We’ll return on February 17th for the Hayworth 7” drop that we posted on facebook and instagram…but not here! Over 500 copies across four variants including mages and handmade/specialty Yellow Jacket splatter. We’ll give you a reminder post on the 14th so you don’t miss out on this historic release.

The Reversal Of Man 3x12” discography is up in our Canada store from the amazing Repeater Records. We only have the /700 left, with units shipping in April/May.. You can nab one (from the Canada store ONLY) right here.
