New Forms repress + Smush 12"s done!

The New Forms repress is complete and in hand! We did 200 on ghostly maroon with the band taking half of those, so ZBR only has about 100. The U.S. store still have 6 copies of the first press on black (/100) so scoop those up if you want the rarity factor. The band has some shows coming up that you can scope under the album embed below, check’em out!!!

Febuary cds released and promptly sold out. We got the okay to make more as well as some tapes, so we’ll have those out in November/December. Cuz ya know, AOTY contender. A friendly reminder to those who were pissed that we didn’t give more info about the drop…I’ve been posting about it here for a month. Follow this page. It’s helpful.

Smush has shipped to the Canada store. Praise science. Tracking shows we should have’em by October 10th, shipping out all orders from this store by the 11th, and getting a hefty box to the US store same day, so I reckon US orders will start moving after US Dave gets back from his Japanese tour, let’s say October 20th-25th. Thank you for your patience on this one, the plant gave us a 4-week swing window with a guarantee and they were almost 4 weeks late from the end of the swing window. Crowning goes on tour in Japan next weekend! Expect US orders to over the next few weeks to be a bit delayed as US Dave lives his best life. I’d love to like…see a split or something from these bands.

2024 - 09 - 28 /// Bloom Dream tapes now + Febuary/New Forms on Monday!

Bloom Dream tapes just arrived. We made 60, with half going to the band, all on cappuccino swirl. We’re burning through these cds, so pick up one of the last ones.

Febuary cds just arrived! We’ll have them up on Monday at 9am PST / 11am EST / 12pm CST alongside the New Forms 12” repress. These 100 4-panel digipaks are currently the only physical version I’m aware of for this truly incredible release. The band is done so I reckon we won’t be able to make too many more, but regardless, rush and get this before you regret it. Jam a jam below!

New Forms’ incredible ‘as dust collects’ got the repress treatment, with 200 new copies on ghostly maroon. These will go up on September 30th at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST aka when the Febuary cds release, so you can double up that cart.

Operation X-Ray played a plethora of bangers including our own Split Silk! Tapes are getting pretty darn low so if you dig pick one up now before they’re gone!

Okay so we’ve been hanging on to some backup copies in case the postal service fucked anyone, and as everything has arrived safely we can unlock those copies of very sold out stuff. On Saturday March 16th the Canada store will have their Little Big Stuff Thing, with the US version being held at the ZBR Fest 2024 Record Fair for those that miss out on the initial BST or are lucky enough to make the trek to rifle through the bins in person. This also enables people not attending the fest to actually snag something from this most recent Big Stuff Thing. Apart from the Test press raffle (info below) we’ll have Onewaymirror, Tristan Tzara handmades, Congratulations handmades, a single Senza, a few Blind Girls, Orchid 12”s, a swirled Gifts From Enola tape boxset, Euclid C Finder’s final cassette copy, a small stack of Burial Etiquette/Mis Suenos splits, a buncha screamo t-shirts, etc. This goes down on:

The Test press raffle product is live and closes at 9am PST when the Big Stuff Thing tab goes live, and includes shipping costs as if you don’t win a test I’ll just send you a ZBR 12”, therefore no one actually loses, you just might not win a test. This enables customers to pick up some rare shit too from the Little Big Stuff Thing and then I can refund your shipping difference if you’ve taken part in the test press raffle. Included are some test presses of records that won’t be out for months (Terry Green, Niboowin, Gossip, etc.)!

CanaDave’s 150th podcast is with Gxllium!. We released their split with Onewaymirror last month, with their debut album getting the cassette treatment next month, and the band is also coming to ZBR Fest 2024 to annihilate us all.

2023 - 10 - 20 /// New Forms + Othiel

New Forms released yesterday to a rabid screamo base who ate that shit up, as one would expect. This album was shared all over the place and we moved through more than half of the blue /100s in 12 hours. Definitely snag one sooner rather than later as the band has shows lined up and so 12 tracks will continue to make the rounds on social media. Our records shipped today so we should have them just before Halloween and we’ll get them out as promised in early November. A friendly reminder that we have to charge more on Bandcamp cuz of the fees, so we strongly encourage going straight to our two stores (linked on bandcamp) to get it for cheaper.

Othiel’s new single “Erasing” premiered on (((((OPENmind/SATURATEDbrain))))) last night. We already have these 200 black 12”s in hand which will drop on December 1st via Zegema Beach Records.
