2021 - 09 - 18 /// Eyelet repress

Good lord it’s been busy over here. PayBully disputes, phone calls, family colds, and other minor issues have kept me from even posting a short thing. To rectify…

1) BIG STUFF THING is now dispersed in the Canada/International store (this one) to their proper designated sections (vinyl, shirt, cassette, etc.), with most sales expiring.

2) The PayBully thing sounds like it was resolved, but we’ll see when we try putting in our next deposit post-weekend. I don’t think USofDave has linked it back up, but I’ll keep you posted.

3) EYELET’s ‘The Devil Shining Out Your Eyes’ has officially been submitted to the plant for a repress. See you in 2022, or maybe even 2023! Holy fuck!!!

4) For years I’ve had a ton of posters to prepare for sale. Time to have at it. Expect something in October.

2021 - 09 - 15 /// PayBully

What a fuckin’ day. PayBully (formerly p@yp@l) froze/closed our account for the U.S. store (most likely) because of pre-orders not being shipped. As stated, vinyl production is way behind and our Orphan Donor’s got screwed recently when a stamper broke. There’s seemingly very little we can do, but we’re trying to figure it out. We have updated the U.S. store with ShopPay, Visa and Mastercard but PayBully has been removed or we get sued. What PayBully did has happened to lots of labels lately, and quite frankly it’s thievery. So that puts a hiccup in our upcoming orders as PayBully has essentially taken our money for 6 months with zero explanation. We’ll pull through this but cripes this has been stressful.

I had a bunch of other stuff to post but I’ll hold off until tomorrow.

Johnny Reco-mmendation Roughnecks: ANCHORLESS BODIES = This Hungarian band was introduced to me through a member who also plays in VLKN (tape pictured above) and it’s really good, epic, heavy, post-hardcore in the vein of Envy, Amanda Woodward and Aporia.

2021 - 09 - 14 /// 6-Way

A ton was going on today including represses, new 12” pressing plant submissions, cassette duplication orders, acquiring an old band’s permission for a discography release, shipping tons of shit AND finishing up those sneaky double-cassette discographies for the Japanese band we hinted at yesterday. Any guesses?

Probably worth noting that today we received masters from Jack Shirley for a new 6-way 12” that’s gonna blow your mind. Five of the bands have released on ZBR previously, but we’re super stoked to welcome aboard BURIAL ETIEQUETTE from Ontario. Kinda screamo Slow Mass, as I put it to the band today. Should be ready March 2022 maybe? <3 <3 <3

2021 - 09 - 13 /// First Entry

Yo. CanaDave here. I’m doing the first of probably-mostly-daily updates. Some very interesting. Some not. Three quick things.

1) The BIG STUFF THING is over and some of the things have been dispersed back into the stores. The Canada store (this one) still needs some sorting as I spent the vast majority of today packing and sending boxes from said sale.

2) Is that a Japanese screamo double discography tape? Why…yes. Yes it is.

3) I think my cat Jonesy is dying. Very bummed.
