So here we are, ZEGEMA BEACH RECORDS is one year old. How cute. We want to thank all of the bands, labels, photographers, promoters, artists, concert-goers, fans, friends and so much more...thanks. Thanks. Thank you so much. This has easily been the best year of my (Dave) life, where I coupled passion with action after waiting over a decade to do so. Again, truly, thank you everyone. We need to have a giant Starship Troopers party one day.

OLD SOUL made a trip to Canada primarily at the behest of Dave Norman, who is absolutely obsessed with the band. They stayed at ZBR headquarters and play two incredible shows, the first being at Stressfest in Toronto where the entire set is posted in two parts (part 1-Emerald and part 2-Tome/Wick). Amazing, amazing twinkly punk/shoegaze. We've also got 3 bundles of the new EP with the Trachimbrod white/silkscreened 12"!

ZBR is humbled that we were chosen to release this very, very surreal and beautiful album, as well as cover art.

Speaking of top 10 lists, CASSLIS' Quitting made Kevin Duquette of Topshelf Records' top 10 of 2014. Quoted as "ignorantly loud". Check the list here (it's about halfway down).
The new zampler has actually been titled for almost 6 months, since one of our visits to Dave's brother's apartment where the title incited much laughter. Adam from the Guelph, Ontario post-metal band Teleportoise will be taking on illustrative duties for Zampler #4 - Flip Six Three Hole. Included will be a whack of ZBR bands, some of whom will be providing unreleased material.
