Shit’s been selling out like mad recently. Blind Girls? All gone. Massa Nera? Bye bye. Dollores? Zero. Crowning/Swallows Nest split? Gone forever. Yashira/Horsewhip split? No no no, they’re all out. A friendly reminder to pick up stuff you love before it’s gone. 2024 - 02 - 13 /// Edhochuli released, Onewaymirror + Gxllium! premiere

February 14, 2024 by David Norman

After a decade of loving Edhochuli we were able to get on that brand spankin’ new 12”LP ‘Higherlander’ and we couldn’t be prouder. Snag a copy. Take a journey.

What just might end up being split of the year just got a double song-premiere via (((((OPENmind/SATURATEDbrain))))). Check out a new/ridiculous jam from both Onewaymirror and Gxllium! by click on this text or the pic above.

Burial Etiquette was interviewed by Everything Is Noise. Their debut 12”LP releases March 25th, 2024 on none other than Zegema Beach! Click on the pic above or this text to do the full read.

How Can I Forget is a most excellent podcast featuring a member of Party Hats! They interviewed Aaron from Me And Him Call It Us, chatting about lots of cool stuff including ZBR Fest last year and Party Hats’ upcoming 2024 fest performance.

CanaDave went down to Victoria because he’s heard the new Emma Goldman material and wanted to catch that shit live. Oh my god. They did not disappoint. Watch their full set below or click on the pic above or this text to see videos from 75% of the bands that played.

2024 - 02 - 10 /// Edhochuli is Monday, Volp out, Pettersson pre-order!

February 10, 2024 by David Norman

Edhochuli drops on Monday! The three labels each have their own variant but I do believe each label will have a few complete sets available for purchase if variant collecting is your thing. We’ll get promos out just before drop on Monday!!!

A quick reminder that Pettersson 12”LP pre-orders released the other day for ‘Ashen Plain’! We’ll only have 30 copies so that’s a hard recommendation from both Daves to snag one. Operation X-Ray also played a track from it on their radio show, so if you’re looking for new bands to find you’ll hear like 40+ bands!

While you wait for the Edhochuli 12” you’d be silly to not check out Volp from France who released ‘Vortex’ this past week on Tomb Tree. Fans of The Minor Times, Anna Sage, and Horsewhip will eat this shit up, it’s amazing! Everything Is Noise somehow missed out label making the tapes, but you can check that out by clicking on this text.

La Parade’s ‘Voces del Exilio’ cd/12”LP is officially a decade old! Holy crap, I remember showing this to my cousin’s partner before it was released and prior to ZBR even being known to the public. It’s an amazing mixture of Standstill, Viva Belgrado, and Envy. We still got a handful of 12”s!!!

Here’s the final ZBR Fest 2024 poster! The pre-show and the full fest shall be very well attended according to ticket sales, so if you’re thinking of coming don’t wait too long! Click on the poster above or this text to snag some tickets.

This Noise Is Ours continued their ZBR Roster Review series with No Heirloom’s self-titled 7” lathe. We have a handful left including the last few clear! Go to the review by clicking on the pic above or this text. Jam/buy below.

Click for the review/full list!

Angry Metal Guy gave Closet Witch some love! Speaking of love, in case you didn’t hear Closet Witch is on a hiatus because they have a baby on the way! Talk about the best reason for a hiatus ever. Congratulations to the band but especially Mollie and Cory <3 <3 <3 Click on the pic above or this text to go there. Jam/buy below.

Johnny’s Reco-mmendations: METH. = This entire thing was played live at ZBR Fest 2023, so hearing it from the comfort of my own home is both amazing and fucking terrifying. See them at ZBR Fest 2024’s pre-show!
