After 25 years ‘Memoirs of Cynicism’ by New Day Rising is out on vinyl for the first time ever! 8 behemoth tracks full of metallic hardcore intensity with some emotional hardcore sprinklings. 2022 - 12 - 05 /// Keratin day

On the hour Tomb Tree is releasing ‘Only Eye’ by Australia’s Keratin and it’s one of the best EPs of 2022. Incredible, swirling instrumentals with low-end screaming. Kind of like Nionde Plagan mixed with Suis La Lune. So very good, and features a member of Gil Cerrone! 84 tapes were made and we only have 30 of those!

Massa Nera released their absolutely massive cd/tape/12” on Friday to a lava-like response. The seafoam and white vinyl variants are gone (only splatter remains), the cds are gone, and the swirl tapes are almost gone. Not bad for three days of being out in the world…that’s a famous baby.

Gallery Six Saltmarsh is the newest release on CanaDave’s Softseed Music label, which is the calm before the storm, as this split from New Zealand/Japan is intoxicating and chill while the next release will be utter chaos (think Naked City).

Then we shipped the tapes. They took nearly four months to arrive. So now...it is time. All that effort, work, and dedication can be shelved and everyone can bask in the beautiful, soothing, tranquil sounds of New Zealand's SALTMARSH and Japan's GALLERY SIX. Four new songs from each project to bring your brain back out to nature, relax, and smile. 100 tapes spread across the bands and Softseed Music exist, with the label taking 15.

After releasing some absolutely scorching screamo/emo-violence, the Peruvian six-piece has chilled out and moved into mathy, poppy, emo/rock with a few screamo remnants. This brand new ‘EP’ houses four tracks of ever-evolving, constantly shifting, and ear-pleasing goodness that sounds a bit like a more accessible The Mars Volta with two vocalists. Incredible melodies and harmonies with some seriously twisting instrumentals, this is a very unique release with a very digestable runtime. Releases in full October 31st, 2022.

CanaDave did an Out Past the Rings for the sold out People’s Temple Project and Sleeper Wave split 12” that came back out in early 2019. Incredible split and definitely not the last stuff from PTP as they told me they have stuff in the pipeline!

How do I still have a copy of the last Republic Of Dreams + Autarkeia 7” split? It’s been here for like 2 years (after a Euro restock). This thing is amazing and has impeccable art. Hiding In The Outpost…do your damn job. Last copy!!!
