TAKING TIGER MOUNTAIN ‘Taking Tiger Mountain‘ cd/cassette (ZBR411)

For fans of: Orchid, Shesmadefromsuede, and Grimlitter.

This Vancouver four-piece have only been a band for about a year but their first few shows had my neck snapping immediately as I attempted to swing in their direction. With their abrasive and unique approach to screamo, these first five songs cut through with some of the fiercest vocals I've heard all year, and instrumentals that bounce between driving punk/hardcore and massive metallic breakdowns. Also, I love the track titles as numbers…very Wolves! The five songs come on both cassette and cd.

CDs /100 in 4-panel digipak.
Cassettes /55: 25 blue, 15 swirl, 10 halfsies swirl, and 5 test dips w/matching swirl case.
5 tracks.
