This Italian band is back with their sophomore effort and boy oh boy does it deliver. The band hit us up before recording and said this about material, “they way we are evolving is more screamo and less post hardcore than previous record. Our main references are Envy ("footsteps" period), Eyelet, Yearning, Crowning, Nuvolascura (just to name a few). The record will be a concept around the theme of war and of indifference. As a consequence of being a politically involved band, to us this is the most important thing to speak about today,” so needless to say we were rabidly antcipating this. Now ‘Di Fronte a Noi il Nulla‘ is here in all its glory - a truly captivating listen, the songs ebb and flow from gorgeous Italian emo/screamo to technical bits with breakdowns to thick post-hardcore. The three-song string of “Oltre”, “Neve” and “Immobili” is a thing to behold, with the band firing on all cylinders and showing exceptional songwriting chops.
