CONSTRAIN '1999' cassette EP: This Hamilton band ditches a lot of sass and leans more heavily into the metalcore on their sophomore EP '1999'. Unrelenting in its assault, the attacks are thunderous with enough speed behind them to create a wave-after-wave effect but compressed into less than three minutes. Just listen to the unrelenting assault that is ““That Smelly Smell That Smells Smelly” or the gnarly guitarwork littered throughout “Zelda” and “Jenova”, but the entire EP fucks.
