Jeni Magana’s 2024 album ‘Teeth’ needed vinyl, so here we are. The full length houses 14 songs of whimsical, folksy, indie, singer/songwriter goodness with a focus on synths. Whether it’s the almost fantastical nature of “Break Free”, the upbeat danceability of “Beside You”, or the tranquil beauty of “Paul”, this album has it all but it’s Jeni’s spectacular voice and confident lyricism that separates her from all others. There’s also a bunch of music videos from this album for “Paul”, “Girl In Chains”, and “Afraid of Everybody”. We did 40 12” lathes at the always reliable Little Elephant Press, 20 on black (Softseed) and 20 clear (Magana), and despite being lathes these sound like vinyl records. Released on CanaDave’s Softseed Music.
